Bring the résumé you have, paste a job post, and Silo Apply drafts a tailored résumé in which every bullet must cite an accomplishment from your profile. A bullet containing a number your cited evidence does not contain is rejected by code and never reaches the exported file. FROM POSTING TO TAILORED RÉSUMÉ • Import the résumé you already have as a PDF, scanned PDF, image, RTF, or plain text. Review, correct, or deselect each extracted role and accomplishment before it becomes evidence; its position in the source document stays attached. • Paste a job description, scan a printed one with the camera, or share selected posting text from another app. Every requirement is sorted into In this résumé, Available evidence, Partial evidence, or Real gap before anything is written. • The fit tier is computed from that requirement table by a fixed rule, and the fit sheet shows the counts behind it. • Tailoring drafts each section, critiques it the way a screener for that kind of role would, and revises. Bullets that fail the citation check are left out and counted. • Create a DOCX, a single-column PDF whose text an applicant tracking system can read, and matching Markdown to send from the share sheet. Before you share, the readiness row checks text extraction, reading order, page count, role dates, sources, and language. SCREEN THE POSTING • Once your profile holds at least one accomplishment, screen a role before you tailor it: a five-part fit score plus a check for ghost-job and recruitment-scam language such as upfront fees, requests for personal data, MLM pitches, and off-platform contact, quoting the phrase it matched. • A posting rated high risk is marked Pass, whatever its fit score. LANGUAGE A SCREENER WILL NOT BIN • Em dashes, marketing clichés, self-awarded titles, and text aimed at an automated screener block a bullet from export. • Weak openers, first person, and repeated openers are flagged for the next revision without deleting your own evidence. • Grounding is re-checked after every edit you accept. KEEP THE SEARCH MOVING • Track each role from Saved to Closed with stage history, notes, next actions, and due dates. • A STAR story bank built from your own accomplishments, each story linked to the evidence behind it. • Practice questions drawn from the role you captured. Type, paste, or record an answer; speech is transcribed on the device and the audio is not kept. • Compare offers side by side and get negotiation scripts that show the four-year dollar impact of each ask. WHERE YOUR DATA LIVES Your profile, postings, and drafts are stored on this iPhone or iPad, with no account. On devices with Apple Intelligence, tailoring uses the model built into the system; every other device uses a deterministic engine that works offline. If you would rather tailor with a different model, paste an API key for a hosted service you already pay for. That option is off until you turn it on, asks for consent, keeps the key in your Keychain, and labels every screen where content leaves the device. Free to use: profile import, role screening, application tracking, the story bank, and one tailored résumé you can read and copy as plain text. A one-time Full Unlock adds DOCX, PDF, and Markdown files, unlimited tailoring, grounded bullet edits, cover letters, saved interview feedback, application insights, and offer modeling.

Verdict
SaneScan and Silo Apply are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. SaneScan sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year and Silo Apply sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
