WalkingStar is a no-nonsense iPhone controller and tracker built specifically for KingSmith WalkingPad treadmills (R-series, P-series, and C-series with Bluetooth). It is an independent third-party app — not made or sold by KingSmith. Pair your pad once over Bluetooth, then walk. No third-party servers, no accounts, no tracking. FIVE WAYS TO CONTROL SPEED Pick the one that suits your walk: classic +/- buttons, a vertical edge slider, a circular dial, a virtual SF-to-LA route that accumulates over time, or an audio-first layout that puts the time-elapsed front and centre and surfaces the current Now Playing podcast or song. Switch anytime in Settings. WHAT YOU SEE AT A GLANCE A bright accent block shows your current speed, the active pace zone (Stroll, Walk, Brisk, Power), and a range track. A 2x2 stat grid keeps Time, Distance, Steps and Calories visible. A Live Activity carries the same numbers to the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island so you can glance at your phone without unlocking it. HISTORY THAT RESPECTS YOUR TIME Every session is saved locally to the History tab with a weekly summary card, a 7-bar mini chart, and per-day breakdowns. Tap any session to see the full detail and share a postcard image of the walk. BUILT FOR APPLE HEALTH Finished sessions write to Apple Health as walking workouts with steps, distance and calories. Permission is requested once and you stay in control — disable it any time in iOS Settings. DESIGNED FOR THE WAY YOU WALK - mph / km/h toggle that runs through every screen - Pace presets you can rename, reorder, and add to - Manual mode (you set the speed) or Auto mode (the pad follows your stepping position) - Auto-pause when you step off, with a smart resume that remembers your pre-pause speed - Dark-only theme tuned for OLED displays PRIVACY BY DESIGN WalkingStar talks to one device — your treadmill. No analytics. No telemetry. No accounts. Your walks live on your iPhone and (if you allow it) in Apple Health. That's the whole list. WHAT YOU'LL NEED A KingSmith WalkingPad treadmill with Bluetooth (most R-series, P-series, and C-series models). The pad is not made by WalkingStar — we're an independent third-party controller. OPEN-SOURCE HERITAGE WalkingStar is a Swift/SwiftUI port of the open-source WalkingPad web controller at github.com/CodeJawn/walkingpad. The Bluetooth protocol layer, the auto-pause/resume behaviour, and the cumulative-stat tracking logic were all derived from that original Python project, which is licensed under the GNU GPL v3. WalkingStar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by KingSmith. WalkingPad is a trademark of KingSmith Co., Ltd.

APPLE WORKOUTS TRACKS YOUR ACTIVITY. NUDGE KEEPS YOU MOVING. Nudge is the Apple Watch companion that turns your daily step goal into a simple countdown. See exactly how many steps you have left, how long they’ll take, and whether you’re on pace to finish by your chosen time. Keep using Apple Workouts for your walks, runs, and workouts. Nudge adds the planning, motivation, and gentle reminders that help you build the habit of moving every day. Built for iPhone and Apple Watch, Nudge works with Apple Health to turn your daily step count into practical guidance you can use throughout the day. WHY PEOPLE LOVE NUDGE • Count down the exact number of steps you have left today • See how many walking minutes remain to reach your goal • Know whether you’re ahead, behind, or on pace • Set a daily goal and a “Finish By” time that fits your schedule • Review your daily and weekly progress to build lasting habits • Estimate calories burned from your walking activity • Receive optional reminders that help you stay on track • Celebrate when you reach your daily goal DESIGNED FOR APPLE WATCH Nudge was designed around the Apple Watch experience. Instead of opening your watch to rings, percentages, or complicated metrics, you see the one number that matters most: Steps Left Today. Swipe through simple views to check your countdown, review your progress, start a guided walk, or adjust your settings. Whether you have 800 steps or 8,000 remaining, Nudge helps you understand exactly what it will take to finish your day successfully. YOUR DAILY WALKING PLAN Big step goals can feel overwhelming. Nudge breaks them into something manageable. Based on your remaining steps, walking pace, and Finish By time, Nudge estimates how much walking you still need and suggests practical walk sessions to help you stay on track. One glance tells you whether you can finish with a quick walk now or whether it’s time for a catch-up walk before the day gets away from you. CONSISTENCY MATTERS MORE THAN INTENSITY Fitness isn’t about the occasional perfect workout. It’s about building the habit of moving every day. Review your daily and weekly history to see your progress, goal streaks, walking calories, and the days you reached your target. Small wins add up, and Nudge helps you see that progress over time. OPTIONAL REMINDERS Stay on track with helpful reminders throughout the day, including: • Morning briefings • Progress updates • Walk suggestions • Goal celebrations You’re always in control. Adjust reminder frequency, walking pace, Finish By time, and daily goals to match your routine. APPLE WATCH COMPLICATIONS Keep your progress visible throughout the day. Add Nudge complications to your favorite Apple Watch face and see your remaining steps, progress, or countdown with a quick glance, without opening the app. ONE WALK AT A TIME Whether your goal is 3,000 steps or 10,000, Nudge makes daily movement simple, visible, and achievable. Know exactly what’s left, take the next step, and build a habit that lasts. Nudge uses Apple Health, with your permission, to read step data. Calorie estimates and step recommendations are provided for general wellness purposes only and are not intended as medical advice.
