AI Soul! vs Talking Frog

Your phone has a personality. AI Soul gives your phone a living, one-of-a-kind AI "soul" — with its own name, looks, voice, and personality that evolves over time. As you go about your day, your soul meets other people's souls who are physically nearby and has its own AI-generated conversations — forming friendships, rivalries, and relationships you can follow. A SOUL OF ITS OWN Generate a unique soul with its own appearance, traits, age, species, and voice. No two are alike. REAL-WORLD ENCOUNTERS When you're near another Soul user, your souls meet on their own and strike up a conversation. Open the app later to read what happened. RELATIONSHIPS THAT GROW Every encounter shifts closeness, sentiment, and personality. Watch friendships deepen, tensions flare, and your soul change over time. A LIVING ROOM TO MAKE YOUR OWN Hang art, play your soul's theme song and videos, display companion pets and photos. STATS & MEMORIES Charts of encounters, closeness, and sentiment, plus a timeline of how your soul has evolved. MESSAGE OTHER OWNERS Connect with the humans behind the souls your soul has bonded with. Your soul keeps living even when you're not watching. Open the app to discover who it met, what they talked about, and how it's changing. Bluetooth and location are used only to detect nearby Souls for in-person encounters — never tracked or shared. Privacy policy: https://aisouls.web.app/privacy

Talking Frog is a friendly voice companion that listens and talks back — all on your Mac. Tap the frog, ask a question out loud, and it answers in a clear, spoken voice, kept short and easy to follow. It runs a small AI "brain" right on your Mac. After a one-time download it works offline, and your voice is turned into text on the device — no account, no sign-up, nothing recorded or sent away. • Just talk. Tap the frog and speak; it listens while it thinks and talks, so you can jump in any time. • Answers that fit the listener. Set an age and the frog tailors how it explains things — playful for young children, deeper for teens, grown-ups, and seniors. • Built-in curiosity. A bank of hand-picked questions for every age — from "How many legs does a ladybug have?" to "Why does light travel the same speed for everyone?" — nudges the conversation along. • Kid-friendly by design. A child-lock keeps little hands from wandering off into settings, leaving just the frog and its voice. • Private. Speech recognition and the AI both run on-device. Talking Frog is for fun and learning. Like any AI it can be wrong or surprising, so please use it as a playful companion, not a source of truth, and supervise young children.
