Worried your parents missed a dose? MedGuard helps adult children and caregivers see when medication is confirmed — even from miles away. Parents get simple medication reminders. You get an alert when a dose has not been confirmed, so you can follow up without repeated check-in calls. WHY CAREGIVERS CHOOSE MEDGUARD Smart Medication Reminders • Flexible schedules: daily (1-3x), every other day, weekly, or as-needed • Miss a dose? Push alert at 30 min, then follow-up reminders until confirmed. Remote Family Management • iCloud family sharing — view synced medication records from your parent • Low stock alerts: know when to refill before they run out Medication History & Reports • Every dose logged automatically with timestamp • PDF adherence reports — hand directly to their doctor Voice Memos (Elder Mode) • Can't type? Parents can record voice notes — auto-transcribed to text • Exportable as PDF to keep a record of what matters 3-step setup: 1. Choose "Child" role and add your parent's medications 2. Share the medicine cabinet via iCloud 3. Your parent taps "Taken" — you can view the synced record A note from the developer I built this app because of my own mom. She lives alone and takes several medications for high blood pressure every day. One evening I called to check on her, and she said, "I think I took them… but I'm not sure." In that moment, I realized phone calls weren't enough. I needed to actually know — not guess. Then other things came up. She once ran out of a medication without realizing it until it was too late to refill. Another time, her doctor asked how consistently she'd been taking her meds — and neither of us could answer. So I built MedGuard: missed doses can notify me after 30 minutes, low stock triggers a warning before she runs out, every dose is logged automatically, and she can export a PDF report to hand her doctor at appointments. Later I added voice memos, because she struggles with typing but always has things she wants to remember. Every feature in this app — she taught me it was needed. If you run into any issues or have ideas to make things better, reach out through Settings → Contact Us. I read every message personally. Download free. Clearer medication records for the whole family.
