Chore Chart for Roommates

The chore chart that ends the whose-turn-is-it argument. Chore Chart splits housework across your family, flatmates, or partner, rotates the rota automatically, and keeps score โ so the person who actually scrubbed the bathroom gets the credit. Most chore apps stop at a checklist. Chore Chart is built around fairness: every chore carries points, a scheduling engine hands the heavy jobs around evenly, and over a full rotation everyone ends up carrying exactly the same load โ not roughly the same, exactly. A fairness meter shows how evenly this week's work actually landed. WHAT YOU GET โข A rota that runs itself โ mark a chore as rotating and it moves to the next housemate each day or week, no redrawing the chart โข Points that settle arguments: "you never do anything" meets a bar chart of who did what since Monday โข A live fairness meter โ see at a glance whether this week's split is 94% even or one person is carrying the house โข A leaderboard with all-time scores, trophies, and a feed of every chore ticked and by whom โข Daily and weekly chores that uncheck themselves at midnight or on Monday โ nothing to reset, ever โข Starter sets that put a whole household routine on the board in under a minute PERFECT FOR โข Flatshares tired of the passive-aggressive kitchen note โข Couples splitting housework without keeping mental score โข Families getting kids to own their jobs through points and trophies โข Anyone running a weekly cleaning routine who wants receipts, not memory WHY NOT JUST A SHARED TO-DO LIST? A list tells you what needs doing. It doesn't decide who, doesn't rotate the jobs nobody wants, and doesn't remember that you did the dishes nine days straight. Chore Chart does all three โ assignment, rotation, and a scoreboard โ on one screen you check in seconds. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Everything stays on this iPhone. No account, no sign-up, no cloud, no tracking. Your household's data is nobody's business but the house's. FULL ACCESS Chore Chart Full Access unlocks unlimited housemates and chores, automatic rotation, complete starter sets, and the daily reminder. Choose a weekly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Put the chart up tonight โ tomorrow's dishes already have a name on them. The weekly and yearly plans are auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. The lifetime plan is a one-time purchase and does not renew. TapDone
Read full descriptionHide full description
TapDone turns an old phone into a Done button you hang on the wall. When someone finishes a chore, they walk up and tap it โ the ring fills green, the points land, and it shows on every phone in the house a second later. It isn't only kids' chores. One shared board keeps feeding the dog, watering the plants and Grandma's evening meds visible to everyone. Green means done. That's pretty much the whole interface. Each task is a dial whose ring drains as the deadline gets closer, so a five-year-old and a grandparent can both read the board from across the room. At night it settles into a clock with the last task still in view. POINTS, STREAKS AND REWARDS YOU WRITE YOURSELF Screen time, a movie pick, pancake Saturday. Each child has their own running total and works toward the rewards that matter to them. IT CAN TELL WHO TAPPED Face match is optional. Recognition runs entirely on the phone โ it reads a frame, works out who's there, and discards it right away. No video, nothing recorded or streamed. Remove one face, or wipe every face in the house, in a single tap. A quick name tap works if you'd rather skip it. SCHEDULES IN PLAIN LANGUAGE Daily, weekdays, every six days, twice a day, or a window that opens at 7 PM. Away mode pauses everything while you're gone โ except the meds. A DISPLAY PER ROOM Kitchen, hallway, bedside: each device shows the tasks for its spot, while your phone sees the whole house. Setup takes about three minutes. Add your chores, pair the old phone with a QR code, and stand it where the job actually happens. A tap, not screen time โ tapping done takes about three seconds and sends everyone back to their day.
