About

Clock Widgets

Your Home Screen already tells the time. It could do it with style. Clock Widgets is a gallery of 34 clock faces: a flip board that snaps over on the minute, a green phosphor terminal, time spelled out in a grid of words, an odometer that rolls the digits, dots and dashes for anyone who reads Morse. Pick one, tap once, and your widget is wearing it. Eleven faces are free. The other 23 — nixie tubes, a Swiss railway dial, split-flap boards, crystals, matchsticks, a sci-fi HUD — open with Clock Widgets Pro, a paid subscription that also includes every face added later. Everything else is free and stays that way: all widget sizes, small through large and extra large on iPad; Stand By, the fullscreen bedside clock that holds the screen awake while the phone charges on its side; 12 or 24-hour time, date on or off, any city's time zone. QUIET BY DESIGN No account. No sign-in. No analytics, no tracking, no third-party code. The app makes no network requests at all — which is why every clock keeps perfect time in airplane mode. For the desk that deserves better than the default. For the nightstand at three in the morning. For anyone who has rearranged their Home Screen twice in one evening. Clock Widgets Pro renews monthly or yearly until you cancel; the price for your country appears in the app before anything is charged. About

Escapement

Features

Escapement is a reference clock for setting a mechanical watch precisely. A full seconds hand sweeps a clean dial. Hack your watch, wait for the minute, push the crown back in. A SIGNAL ON THE MINUTE Watching the screen while you hold a crown is awkward. Turn on the minute signal and Escapement ticks through the last five seconds, then marks the exact minute with a distinct cue, as a haptic pulse or a soft tone. You can look at the watch instead of the phone. THE SCREEN STAYS AWAKE No dimming halfway through a sync. While the clock is open the display stays on. MOONPHASE A photoreal moon rendered from NASA elevation and albedo maps, showing tonight's phase with real terminator shadows. It gives you an accurate disc to set a moonphase complication against, and tells you when not to touch the corrector. ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN AND IN STANDBY A widget for the Lock Screen and StandBy with the time, the date and the current phase. HOW TO SYNC Step-by-step guidance for setting the moonphase disc, hacking the seconds, choosing the moment and verifying the result afterwards. PRIVACY There is no account and no analytics, and the app makes no network requests. Escapement reads your device clock, which iOS already keeps synchronised, and computes the moonphase locally. Free, with no ads and nothing to unlock. FROM THE MAKERS OF MAINPLATE If you keep more than one watch, Mainplate catalogues your collection, tracks flips from purchase to sale with timegrapher readings, and measures how well each piece keeps time. Available separately. DISCLAIMER Escapement is an independent app not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any watch brand, manufacturer, or marketplace.
