About

Local Git

Features

Keep a folder under On My iPhone in sync with a GitHub repository. Review changes, then choose when to synchronize. • Work with a folder you choose in Files. Edit its contents in any app that can use that folder. • See local changes and whether your GitHub branch is aligned. • Capture local changes, integrate remote history, and push without force. • When changes conflict, review affected files and choose the iPhone or GitHub version. • Check recent activity and use supported actions in Apple Shortcuts. Local Git needs a writable GitHub repository and an internet connection to synchronize. It works with folders under On My iPhone; iCloud Drive folders are not supported. Synchronization starts when you choose it.
