Impulso turns your daily walk into a game. The pace you need to reach your next division, keep your streak alive, and climb from Bronze to Diamond based on your activity over a rolling 30 days. Your steps sync automatically from Apple Health. There is no subscription. Every comp, division and feature is unlocked for everyone. SKILL BASED COMPS It's simple. Most steps wins. Comps run on recorded effort and verified results. No luck, no wagers. Winners receive fixed giveaways funded by Impulso. THERE IS ALWAYS A COMP ON - One day comps every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. They run 6am to midnight and it is winner takes all. Entry opens 8am the day before. - Week long step comps, running Saturday to Friday, shared across the top three. - Team vs Team on the alternating weeks. Team up, combine your steps, and the winning team splits it. You can be in up to three comps at the same time. HOW IT WORKS - Hit your division goal. We set the pace to your next division and lift it as you climb. - Keep your streak. You start with three freezes, and a freeze covers the odd day off so a missed day pauses your streak instead of resetting it. - Climb the divisions. Stay active across 30 days to reach Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Higher divisions unlock bigger giveaway comps. - Win comps. When a comp opens you get a window to enter, then it's most steps wins. TEAM COMPS - Build a team and go head to head with other teams on combined steps. - See every team's standings, and tap a team to see each member's step count. - Invite teammates straight from the app by searching their name. YOUR PROFILE See your full step history in one place. Track your daily average this month against last month, your lifetime steps, your best day and your current streak. Add a profile photo to make your account your own. PRIVACY & FAIRNESS - Step data is read from Apple Health (read-only) and is never shared with third parties. - All scoring and results are computed server side and verified before any payout. - Every comp needs a minimum number of entrants to go ahead. If it doesn't reach that before entry closes the comp is cancelled and everyone is told, so nothing is ever won by default. - Giveaways are skill based, fixed amounts funded by Impulso, awarded on verified performance. Subject to eligibility, identity verification, regional availability and the challenge terms. Lace up, hit your goal, and climb the divisions. A snail is coming for you. It hatched near you and it already knows where you are. It moves in a straight line, through buildings, through rivers, through anything in the way. It does not sleep and it never loses you. Walking is the only thing that holds it back. HOW IT WORKS The snail crawls toward your real location, day and night, whether the app is open or not. It starts at about two miles a day and gets faster every three days you survive. Every step you take pushes it back. Snail reads the step count your iPhone already records, so it does not matter where you walk or how fast. A walk to the mailbox counts. A shift on your feet counts. Most of each walk pushes the snail away, and the rest is banked for later. Driving away does not help. Only steps buy distance, and heading toward it is a very bad idea. If it reaches you, the game is over. Days survived is your score. A new snail hatches at 6am. WHAT YOU CAN SEE Far away, you only get a rough idea of where it is. The closer it gets, the more precisely you know. Inside a thousand feet, you see exactly where it is. SALT AND SHELL Salt freezes the snail for six hours. You start with one and earn another every week you survive. Shell pushes it back three miles. It costs five banked miles. IT TELLS YOU WHEN IT IS CLOSE A notification at one mile, at half a mile, and when it is on your street. A word in the morning and in the evening on how the day is going. PRIVACY No account, no sign up, no email address. No ads, no trackers, no purchases. Snail reads your step count from Apple Health and writes nothing back. Your location is used to play the game. Nothing is sold and nothing is shared. BATTERY Snail uses your location in the background, because the snail does not stop when you close the app. While it is far away, Snail checks your position rarely. It only checks often when the snail is close.
