About

ResQMesh

When the cellular network is gone, the radios keep talking. ResQMesh turns small LoRa radio boards and your iPhone into one network. Messages, positions and ALERTs travel from board to board, with no internet, no SIM and no infrastructure behind them. Every board relays what it hears, so the range grows with the team. WHAT YOU NEED ResQMesh works only with LoRa boards running the ResQMesh firmware. It does not work with other LoRa devices or other firmware. Supported boards: Heltec Wireless Tracker, LilyGO T-Deck Plus, LilyGO T-Echo Plus, Seeed SenseCAP T1000-E. The firmware is free and installs from railab.com/products/resqmesh.html. One board per person, paired with the phone over Bluetooth. ALERT One button sends your position to everyone within reach. The network repeats it until somebody confirms, and the confirmation comes back to you. An incoming ALERT rings even with the phone on silent, shows who sent it, how far away, which fix and how much battery is left, and opens navigation towards them. Send it from the ALERT tab, the Action button or a Shortcut, also with the phone locked. MESSAGES Channels for the whole team and private chats, with delivery confirmation. Read and send by voice with Siri, also on CarPlay. MAP AND NETWORK Every board on the map, with tracks, distance and direction. The Network tab shows who is heard directly, who through other boards, and who has been silent for a while. SET UP IN SECONDS The whole team shares the same channel and settings through a QR code. Check the channels before you start: the board listens and tells you which one is free. TWO BANDS On 868 MHz, licence-free in Europe, no licence is needed. On 433 MHz, for licensed radio amateurs, ResQMesh also works with APRS: beacons and messages on 433.775, visible on aprs.fi through an iGate. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No servers, no account, no tracking. Messages and positions travel over the radio between the boards and stay on your devices. What goes over the air can be received by anyone within range, as with any radio. ALSO Live Activity for an ALERT in progress, widgets for the Home Screen and the lock screen, demo mode to try the app without a board. ResQMesh is a communication tool. It is not a certified safety device and does not replace the emergency services. Use only frequencies, power and modes allowed in your country and by your licence. Railab Srl, Brescia, Italy.
