AeroRush Flight Sim
Read full descriptionHide full description
AeroRush Flight Sim is a flight simulation game built to make real pilot habits easier to understand. Start in Flight School and learn how a light aircraft feels: build airspeed on the runway, hold centerline, rotate smoothly, climb at a safe speed, fly gentle turns, recover from stalls, and use runway lights to practice stable approaches. Then enter Helicopter Academy to practice collective control, cyclic hover work, pedal turns, helipad approaches, soft touchdowns, emergency recovery drills, vortex-ring-state avoidance, translational-lift management, and a sling-load rescue route with live scoring. The simulator includes Student Assist for first-time pilots, live instructor-style coaching, a live instructor console, local training records, cockpit instruments, rotor instruments, training gates, landing scoring, objective debrief reports, engine sound, haptics, and offline play. AeroRush Flight Sim is designed as an educational game and simulation. It is not a certified flight training device and should not be used as a substitute for instruction from a qualified flight instructor.

A 3D flight simulator built around the way Tokyo Haneda Airport is actually operated. FEATURES - Eight Haneda approaches (34R straight-in over Tokyo Bay, 34R Tokyo Bay long approach [a fictional training route], 34L parallel ILS, 16L downtown route, 16R to Runway A, 22 curved over-water approach, 23 to the D Runway, 04 to Runway B) plus free flight - Five aircraft sizes (turboprop, regional jet, narrow-body, wide-body twin and jumbo). Weight changes the approach speed, how the aircraft responds and how far it rolls after touchdown - Detailed aircraft with proper wing sections, engines, folding landing gear, flaps, navigation lights and strobes - Scenery around Haneda Airport: 3D terminals 1-3, the control tower and hangars, aircraft parked at the gates, the water of Tokyo Bay, and four paved runways with runway numbers and touchdown zone markings - The Tokyo and Yokohama skyline with city lights at night, and a cloud layer you can fly through - A mini map in the lower right shows where you are relative to the runway and how far is left - Pick a course to preview its starting view and map before the flight begins - Wind and crosswind matched to real operations. Fly the runway heading and you will drift off the centreline, so you have to crab into the wind on final (wind strength is adjustable in the settings) - Terrain rendered from aerial imagery by the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan, in higher resolution around Haneda and its runways - Morning, day, sunset and night, with runway edge, centreline, threshold and sequenced flashing approach lighting plus PAPI after dark - Lift-based flight model: stall, buffet, sink and the flare. Flaps, landing gear and speed brakes are handled automatically, and the extra drag is reflected in how the aircraft flies - Every landing is scored out of 100. Soft touchdown, centreline, touchdown zone and speed/attitude are each rated with stars, and your best score per approach is saved - Turn on live traffic in the settings to see real aircraft flying near Tokyo right now, from OpenSky Network ADS-B data - Customise your aircraft's livery (six presets plus individual colours for the fuselage, stripe, tail and engines) - Virtual stick controls, synthesised engine, touchdown and brake sounds - Available in English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese HOW TO PLAY Fly with pitch, roll, rudder and throttle, and touch down on the runway at the right attitude and speed for a LANDING CLEAR. Too much sink rate, too much bank, or touching down off the runway ends in a crash. Fly a real approach into Haneda, with real terrain around you.
