sit with the language beneath the verse. undertext Bible is a quiet place to read the Bible next to its original words: Hebrew in the Old Testament, Greek in the New, and the Aramaic Peshitta beside it. one word at a time, each with its transliteration, a short gloss, and its Strong's number. tap any word to see what the English is standing on. every word can be heard, too. Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic, each read aloud in a real recorded voice. when You want to go deeper, Grace is an optional study companion grounded in the passage on the screen. when You choose send, undertext shares Your question, the passage in front of You with its original-language context, and from this sitting only, up to eleven recent messages and up to eleven of the verses You stopped at. the request goes to Claude from Anthropic, through Amazon Bedrock, and only after You give explicit permission. Your name, account, device identifier, and the rest of what You read are not part of the request. when You choose the mic, Your spoken audio streams through Amazon Transcribe to make an editable draft. the draft does not go to Grace until You choose send. keep what matters in a private journal and library. Your writing is kept in Your own private iCloud, or on this device when iCloud is not reachable, or held just until You close the app when neither is. the journal always tells You which of those is holding the page in front of You, and if a save does not go through, the words stay on the screen with a way to try again. undertext is built for stillness, not speed. one verse fills the screen. nothing else asks for Your attention. this iOS app includes iPhone and iPad, an Apple Watch verse-of-the-day glance, and Apple Silicon Mac availability through Designed for iPad. the App Clip opens one verse without an install. undertext TV remains a separate App Store app. - read offline while a chapter remains in the app's cache. - receive a single verse each day, at an hour You choose. - switch between light and dark appearance whenever the room changes. - search by word, reference, transliteration, or Strong's number. - share a verse through the native iOS share sheet. - tune type and haptics to how You like to read. no account. no ads. no third-party tracking. the first time You use Grace or voice search, Amazon gives this copy of the app a random ID, so those two features can be reached. it is not an undertext account. it holds no name, no email address, no advertising identifier, nothing You have read, and nothing You have written. it is never used for analytics, advertising, identifying You, or tracking. Grace Pro is an auto-renewable subscription purchased through the App Store. monthly is $4.99 per month; annual is $39.99 per year. payment is charged to Your Apple Account at purchase. the subscription renews automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. THE HEBREW Every Bible translation asks for trust. RETURN TO THE WRITTEN WITNESS The Karaite Messianic Translation begins with a conviction: understanding comes from the Creator, not from a denomination or institution. Scripture should remain open to careful study and debate. The ancient text should remain visible so every reader can test the translation. Yeshua warned us to beware the scribes and Pharisees. We take that warning seriously. Pharisaic tradition is not placed above Scripture. The Talmud is not Torah or inspired authority. This collection returns to Torah, the Prophets and Writings, and the witnesses closest to Yeshua: His disciples and brothers. WHY WE SPEAK PLAINLY Talmud passages such as Gittin 57a preserve a degrading portrayal of Yeshua. Public availability does not mean they are openly presented to Christian readers. We believe many modern Pharisaic teachers would prefer that Christians never examine what these writings say about Yeshua. That silence matters. The Hebrew names the disagreement and presents the evidence. Paul's letters are not included. Pauline doctrine is not permitted to set aside the perfect Torah of our King, weaken His warning about Pharisaic teaching, or turn obedience into something elementary. The King's laws still matter, even while He is away. We should teach our children why it matters to remove the Pharisee leaven of this world and seek His Truth. SOURCE FIRST, NOT TRADITION FIRST The Hebrew translates from Hebrew, and from Greek for Yohanan, his three letters, Ya’aqob, Yahudah, and Revelation. The source appears beside the English. When a word has more than one possible meaning, you can see it, tap it, and examine it. יהוה remains visible without imposing a guessed pronunciation. Yah is preserved wherever His Name appears, including HalleluYah: Praise Yah. Elohim, El, Elah, Adonai, and other deity titles are not flattened into one English substitute. What makes The Hebrew unique is that the standalone את, Aleph and Tav (most Greek readers would say Alpha and Omega) stays in its source-relative place. We preserve the evidence and let the reader consider its meaning. Yeshua appears where the documented Hebrew form supports His Name. Personal names include Hebrew-origin meanings. TOOLS FOR TESTING THE TRANSLATION Tap Hebrew or Greek words for phonetics, roots, prefixes, suffixes, translations, and complete meaning lists. Search words and phrases. Change among English, Hebrew, Greek, and phonetic views without losing your verse. Copy Scripture, choose your text size, and read in dark green or light cream. FORTY-FOUR BOOKS Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Job, Ruth, 1–2 Samuel, 1–2 Kings, Psalms, Song of Solomon, Proverbs, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Lamentations, 1–2 Baruk, Daniel, Jonah, Amos, Hosea, Micah, Nahum, Zephaniah, Habakkuk, Obadiah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi, Ezra, 2 Esdras, Nehemyah, John, 1–3 John, James, Jude, Revelation. THIS TRANSLATION IS A BEGINNING We do not claim every question is settled. As we learn and compare ancient witnesses, the translation will continue to be examined and refined. Many modern Bible traditions inherit later doctrinal assumptions. We return to the ancient text and allow it to correct us. Truth is unemotional. Truth is ancient. Truth can be established by two witnesses from the original texts. FREE, PRIVATE, AND OFFLINE The Hebrew is free and ad-free, with no account, subscription, in-app purchase, analytics, or tracking. Reading position and preferences stay on your device. Core reading, search, copy, and word study work offline, even without a connection. Read the source. Test the translation. Let Scripture change you. If you believe truth belongs in the light of the ancient text, welcome home to the Karaite Messianic Translation: the books of our King and His Father, Yah, the Great King who was before heaven and earth.
