Most planners treat every hour the same. Your energy doesn't. Dayvant is a day planner built around a simple idea: do your hardest work when your focus is highest. Tag each task with an energy level โ heavy, medium, or light โ and Dayvant automatically puts the demanding work in your morning and keeps the rest for later in the day. No endless backlog. No guilt-inducing list of everything you've ever wanted to do. Just today, planned around how you actually work. WHY DAYVANT โข Energy-based planning โ heavy tasks land in your morning focus block, automatically. โข A real picture of your day โ see how full today is, so you take on what you can actually finish. โข Your calendar, built in โ your meetings count toward your capacity, so the plan reflects reality, not wishful thinking. โข Work / personal split โ choose which calendars count, so personal noise stays out of your work day. โข Built for focus โ one screen, today only. Open it and you know what's next. โข Lock Screen capture โ add a task the moment it comes to you, without opening the app. MADE FOR FREELANCERS & KNOWLEDGE WORKERS If you own your own time โ freelancers, founders, makers, anyone doing deep work โ Dayvant helps you protect your best hours instead of filling them with shallow tasks. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your tasks, plans and calendar stay on your device โ synced only through your own private iCloud, never visible to the developer. No ads, no ad tracking, no accounts. Dayvant uses only anonymous, aggregate usage analytics to improve the app โ never your content โ and you can turn it off in Settings. SIMPLE, HONEST PRICING Try everything free for 14 days โ no credit card. Then a single one-time purchase unlocks Dayvant โ pay once, it's yours to keep. Plan your day by energy. Get the important work done while it still feels easy. iPhone, iOS 17 or later.
TaskTracker

TaskTracker is a to-do list for people who have several things on the go at once. Break a big thing into steps, and those steps into smaller ones โ nesting has no limit. Ticking a parent ticks off everything under it, so finished work tidies itself away. WHAT IT DOES โข Tasks inside tasks โ as deep as you like, from a project down to a single phone call. โข Deadlines and reminders โ set a date and time on a card or on one item. The server sends the reminder, so it reaches your phone even for something you typed on a computer. โข Works with no signal โ the whole list lives on your phone. Edits save instantly and merge themselves once you are back online. Nothing gets overwritten. โข The same everywhere โ phone and browser show the same thing. Change one and the other has it. โข Attachments on cards โ a receipt, a photo, a contract, kept with the task it belongs to. โข WIP โ mark a task that's under way or waiting on someone else as WIP. The card shows at a glance how many of those you have. โข Dictation โ tap the microphone and say the task instead of typing it. โข An archive, not a bin โ finished items stay struck through until the end of the day, then move to the archive with the date you finished them. You can always bring them back. โข Light and dark, following your system. โข Czech and English. YOUR ACCOUNT An e-mail address and a password is all it takes. No name, no phone number, no payment details. You can delete your account from inside the app and the data leaves the server immediately. PRIVACY No adverts, no analytics, no tracking. We do not sell your tasks and we do not read them. The app runs on our own server in the Czech Republic and the data is backed up daily. FREE The app is free, with no adverts and no in-app purchases. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TaskTracker at none against Dayvant's 1. TaskTracker also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 11 days). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
