Holdover Armory puts your rifles, loads, and ladder tests in one place — synced across your devices via iCloud. Built for precision shooters and handloaders who track what matters: barrel round counts, go-to loads, charge weight ladders, and the accessories mounted on every rifle. ARMORY Your rifles, organized. Each entry tracks caliber, barrel life, twist rate, round count, and a full accessory manifest across 18 categories — from optics and muzzle devices to bipods and chassis. Add a photo and the app extracts its color palette to tint the interface. LOADS Every load you develop gets a parametric cartridge rendering with color-coded markers — so you can tell your 6.5 CM loads apart at a glance. Track brass, primer, powder, charge weight, bullet, COAL, and CBTO. Mark your go-to load and it stays front and center. LADDER TESTS Build charge-weight ladders right in the app. Log velocity for each step, then review your results on a velocity-vs-charge chart with color-coded data points. Find your node, mark the winner, and promote it to a load. BENCH DATA Reference SAAMI specs, cartridge dimensions, and caliber-specific barrel life data without leaving the app. The caliber gallery renders every cartridge to relative scale. PRIVACY Your data stays yours. Holdover Armory syncs through your personal iCloud account — we never see it, store it, or share it. No analytics, no tracking, no ads. Read the full policy at holdover.ca/privacy. Holdover Armory is made by Holdover — a Canadian journal on precision shooting, handloading, and firearms ownership. Learn more at holdover.ca.

About

BenchLog

Features

BenchLog is a reloading journal built for handloaders who take load development seriously — and who want their data to stay on their own device. Log every load, track what each charge actually does downrange, and work up to the load your rifle likes best. No account. No cloud. No subscription. ALREADY KEEP A SPREADSHEET? BRING IT. Import your load log from CSV. Map the columns yourself — BenchLog shows sample values from each one so you can tell them apart — and check the preview before anything is saved. Headers split across two rows are handled. Columns it has no field for go into the load's notes instead of being dropped. Nothing is written until you say so. LOG YOUR LOADS • Record caliber, bullet, powder, charge, primer, brass, OAL, CBTO and notes • Duplicate a load to work up the next charge in one tap • Version history keeps every step of a workup • Yellow flag when a charge tops your own logged max TRACK EVERY RANGE SESSION • Enter velocities by hand or import a chronograph CSV • No chronograph? Enter the number of rounds fired — inventory and barrel round count follow it • Live average, SD and ES as you go • Group size, MOA, distance, weather and a keeper / retest / reject verdict • Photo of the group KNOW YOUR BARREL • Round count for every barrel, built from the sessions you already log — free • Started mid-life? Enter what the barrel had on it before BenchLog • Sessions on loads without a barrel are never folded into the count • Sessions with no round count are marked, not silently counted as zero • PRO: cleaning log — set "clean at N rounds", see the count since the last cleaning, and keep every cleaning with the round count it was done at SEE YOUR LADDER • Charge vs. velocity chart across a workup • Seating depth test: switch the axis to CBTO and chart group size against cartridge length • Tap any point for its MOA and distance • SD at a glance to spot the flat spots KNOW YOUR INVENTORY • Track powder, bullets, primers and brass with cost • "Rounds left" forecast from your average charge • Low-stock flags EXPORT & BACK UP • Printable PDF load book • CSV export of loads, sessions, components and barrel cleanings • Full backup to a single file — and restore it anytime BUILT RIGHT • 100% offline — everything works at the range with no signal • No account, no tracking, your data never leaves the device unless YOU export it • Free forever: your range log, group measurement, ladder charts, inventory, barrel round count, import and export, and your first 10 loads • One-time purchase — BenchLog Pro — unlocks unlimited loads, the barrel cleaning log, the season summary and the result card, with more Pro tools as they land. No subscription, ever. BenchLog stores YOUR records only. It is not load data. Always verify charges against a current published reloading manual. Start low and work up. You are responsible for your loads.
