Task Bowl

Task Bowl is a simple, low-pressure task picker for moments when choosing what to do next feels harder than the task itself. Add your tiny tasks to the bowl, tap Pick One, and let Task Bowl choose one next step for you. It works like a digital task jar: throw tasks in, pull one out, do it, or toss it back if your brain says “not that one.” No complicated planner. No streak pressure. No productivity guilt. No giant to-do list staring at you. Task Bowl is helpful for: - choosing one tiny task - chores and quick resets - decision fatigue - task overwhelm - ADHD-style task paralysis - people who hate normal to-do lists What you can do: - Add small tasks to your bowl - Randomly pick one task - Mark it done or toss it back - Use Daily Tasks for same-day momentum - Reset and restart whenever you need Task Bowl is not a full productivity system. It is a tiny task picker for getting unstuck.
TaskNotes

TaskNotes is a calm, capable task manager built around portable Markdown records. Capture work quickly, decide what matters today, and organise tasks without locking your information into one app. • Create, edit, complete, search, and reorder tasks • Plan with lists, boards, calendars, due dates, and scheduled dates • Set priorities, recurring tasks, reminders, and dependencies • Track time and attach images • Turn rough notes into selected tasks with Scratchpad • Choose system, light, or dark appearance • Inspect the Markdown record behind any task TaskNotes works with mdbase collections. Use a hosted collection or connect one kept on your computer; the same interface and task model apply either way. Your collection remains the authoritative home of your tasks, and each task stays a structured Markdown record you can use beyond TaskNotes. Reminders are delivered by mdbase, so TaskNotes does not need to stay open. Notification payloads contain no task titles, descriptions, paths, or record content. Learn more at tasknotes.dev.
