Ride Beyond plans motorcycle routes the way you want to ride them: fastest, twistiest, or off-road. Turn-by-turn navigation with voice, offline routes, ride recording, Garmin import and a rider rating built from physics, not likes. Routing covers mainland Europe, Morocco, Australia and New Zealand. FOUR WAYS TO RIDE - Car: plain sat-nav routing, on roads a car would take. - Moto: twisty, hilly, paved backroads. A slider from Efficient to Scenic trades time for fun, and it never sends you onto gravel. - Adventure: gravel, forest tracks and paths, from fast rally gravel to technical enduro. Dry or wet ground changes what it picks. - Fastest: whatever gets you there soonest, tarmac or track. PLAN AND NAVIGATE - Search a place or long-press the map, add stops, pick a mode per leg, with motorway and singletrack switches. - Adventure Direct finds the most dirt that fits your time; Explore wanders further. Set time to spare, dirt or views, and a difficulty cap. - Fuel planner: your bike's range, fuel stops by price and detour, and a warning where no station is in reach. - See the surface split before you commit: how much asphalt, gravel, path and unknown. - Turn-by-turn navigation with voice guidance, live speed, posted speed limit, and alerts for fixed speed cameras (camera data covers Romania today). - Navigation and recording carry on with the screen off, and show in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen. - A 3D map with terrain and buildings, and your own bike on it, leaning with the phone. A Dark map for night riding. Miles or kilometres, on screen and in the voice. - Look around freely while navigating, open any layer, and tap the map to add a stop. - Download a route with its map corridor and navigate it in airplane mode. - Import a GPX track and follow it, or snap it to roads. - For You: say how long you have and get loops that fit, road or off-road. RECORD AND UNDERSTAND YOUR RIDES - One tap records a ride with the phone on the bar or in a pocket. Works offline, syncs later, and survives a crash or a restart. - Connect Garmin and your rides flow in on their own. - Every ride analysed: speed, elevation, heart rate, lean angle, cornering and surface mix. - A rider rating anchored to grip physics and your tyres, counting each ride once wherever it came from. Car trips never count. - Leaderboards, challenges, badges and a garage for every bike you own, in the look and colour you pick. - Export any ride as GPX, TCX or FIT, or as a share card image. RALLY ROADBOOKS - Drive a recon and the roadbook builds itself on the phone, offline: tulips, distances, CAP headings, dangers. - Edit every entry, export as OpenRally GPX, GPX, PDF or JSON, or ride it with a trip odometer and live CAP. RIDE WITH FRIENDS - A friends-only feed: share a ride with photos and a caption, like and save rides into your own library. - See where friends are riding right now. - Group rides: one route and one GO for everyone. Open rides that riders nearby can join. - Add friends by @username or QR code, or invite a rider with your own link. - Privacy zones hide the places you choose, and can hide where your rides start and end. - Report a post or block a rider at any time. MAP AND CONDITIONS - A satellite map: 1.5 m photos across Romania and a photo at low zoom everywhere the app routes. Hold to see the bare photo. - Signal zones: No signal, No internet and Full signal, on the map and in the route plan. - Rain radar at every zoom, and ground wetness: how muddy the trails are, refreshed through the day. WHAT YOU NEED - An account (email or Apple). - Location while the app is open. During a ride you started (a recording or navigation) it carries on in the background until the ride ends, with the iOS location indicator showing. No background tracking outside a ride. Ride Beyond is built by a rider, for riders, and it has no ads and your data is never sold. Terms of Use: https://ridebeyond.app/terms Privacy Policy: https://ridebeyond.app/privacy

About

NavTrail

Features

NavTrail is built for off-road drivers and overlanders β€” forest roads, 4Γ—4 trails, mountain expeditions, overland camping. Offline OpenStreetMap maps, turn-by-turn navigation with voice guidance, and a trusted community. Your account, tracks, and POIs sync across all your devices. IMPORTANT β€” NavTrail SOS is NOT an official emergency service. The SOS feature only sends a notification to other NavTrail users in your area (peer-to-peer). Messages are NOT delivered to police, ambulance, mountain rescue, or any official dispatcher. For medical emergencies or serious accidents, ALWAYS call 112 (or your local emergency number) BEFORE using NavTrail SOS. OFFLINE MAPS β€’ Download OSM regions for use in airplane mode. β€’ Four styles: Standard, Topographic, Overland (shaded relief), Satellite. β€’ Cached tiles render automatically when you go offline. GPS TRACK RECORDING β€’ Records in the background, screen on or off. β€’ Export tracks as GPX, or import GPX from other apps and devices. β€’ Open any saved track on the map with an elevation profile and stats. TURN-BY-TURN NAVIGATION β€’ Voice-guided driving directions with a 3D follow camera. β€’ Auto-reroute, snap-to-route, and one-tap re-centre. β€’ Navigate to a POI, a search result, a saved track, or a convoy member. COMMUNITY POIs (camping, springs, viewpoints, refuges, tyre repair) β€’ Add your own spots with descriptions. β€’ See everything other users have placed nearby. β€’ Community moderation: 3 unique reports auto-hide a POI. HAZARD REPORTS (4-hour lifetime) β€’ Deep ruts, fallen trees, landslides, sheepdogs, barriers, bears, mud sections. β€’ Real-time β€” others see them within seconds. β€’ "Still here" confirms extend the lifetime; 3 reports auto-resolve. β€’ Proximity alerts warn you as you approach an active hazard. COMMUNITY SOS β€’ Choose the help you need (winch, mechanical, fuel, community medical assist). β€’ Sends a push to nearby NavTrail users in your area. β€’ See the disclaimer above β€” this does NOT replace 112. CONVOY (up to 12 vehicles) β€’ Share a 6-character code to ride together. β€’ See members' live positions on the map. β€’ Background sharing uses the system location indicator β€” stop any time. OFF-ROAD DASHBOARD β€’ Inclinometer with a vehicle silhouette (pitch & roll). β€’ On-device barometer with storm alerts. β€’ Tyre-pressure calculator per terrain type. PRIVACY β€’ Anonymous sign-in β€” no email, password, or phone number required. β€’ No ads, no analytics, no cross-app tracking. β€’ Your location is shared only with your convoy members, and only while sharing is active. β€’ Privacy policy: https://navtrail.app/privacy NAVTRAIL PRO NavTrail Pro (optional subscription, with a free trial for new subscribers): off-road routes that prefer forest and dirt roads; route planning that follows the road, and Trail Check β€” what the data shows along your route, for your vehicle β€” with Detour to avoid a stretch; the mobile signal map with ANCOM's 2024 measurements and a warning before long stretches without signal; the NavTrail 4x4 map β€” our own off-road map with slopes, fords and dead ends, also offline; protected areas on the map, with a warning when you enter one; the Pro mark on your profile. These cover Romania for now. SOS and hazard reports stay free.
