Aethron is a minimal oscillator instrument for observing sound as waveform. Rather than a full music production app, Aethron is designed as a small sonic device for touching, layering, and reshaping oscillating sound. Add oscillators, tune frequency and amplitude, switch waveforms, invert polarity, sync phases, randomize signal states, and store the sounds you discover. Ulzii is an instrument for fingertip meditation, inspired by Mongolian throat-singing (khoomei) and the tradition of drone music. At its core is continuous tuning, free from the twelve equal-tempered Western scale. Two ribbons let you freely set the pitch of two voices; touching the central pad shapes the color of that voice's resonance (like a vowel) depending on where you touch. The name "Ulzii" comes from the endless knot found in traditional Mongolian ornamentation — echoing this app's core idea of an unbroken, continuous drone. - Continuous tuning ribbons: note names are just reference points — slide your finger to tune freely to anything in between - Central pad: touch position shapes vocal resonance (overtone color); an optional VOWELS overlay shows common vowel positions - Three playing modes: UNISON (locked to voice I), FOLLOW (a delayed echo of voice I), and ORBIT (an autonomous, ever-moving layer) - Sleep / meditation timer: 3–30 minutes, gently fading out at a slower tempo — ideal for bedtime or meditation Headphones are recommended.
