Earned vs NotYet

Every unlock begins with a commitment. Earned helps you break the scroll-first habit. Before you open the apps you love, you do something that matters — wash the dishes, read, work out, study — and only then earn a limited window of screen time. HOW IT WORKS 1. DECLARE A TASK Choose from dozens of built-in tasks across chores, wellness, learning, creativity, and more — or create your own with Earned Pro. 2. SET A TIMER Pick how long you'll focus. The timer cannot be paused or skipped. Your selected apps stay locked until time is up. 3. EARN YOUR APPS When the timer ends, you unlock a scroll window — screen time you've actually earned. When it's over, apps lock again until your next task. WHY EARNED IS DIFFERENT • Commitment-first — scrolling is the reward, not the default • No pause, no override — the timer runs until it's done • Real tasks, real streaks — build momentum day after day • Uses Apple's Screen Time APIs — locking happens on your device • Widgets & Live Activities — see your timer and progress at a glance FREE INCLUDES • Lock up to 3 apps • 1 app folder • Full task library • Streak tracking • Scroll window after each completed task EARNED PRO • Unlimited app locking • Unlimited app folders • Custom tasks & durations • Schedule tasks ahead of time • Full insights & streak history • Custom scroll window length PRIVACY Earned uses Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks to lock and unlock apps on your device. We do not sell your data. Screen Time usage data stays on your device. SUBSCRIPTIONS Earned Pro is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. # Pause — Think Before You Enter You know that moment. You open an app without even thinking about it. Pause adds a few seconds between the impulse and the action. When you try to access an app you've chosen to block, Pause gives you a short moment to stop, reflect, and decide whether you really want to continue. ## A Different Kind of App Blocker Pause isn't designed to completely control what you can access. Instead, it creates a small moment of friction. A countdown begins. And as the seconds pass, the message changes. **10 seconds** "Wait a second." **7 seconds** "Do you really need to open this?" **5 seconds** "What were you hoping to find here?" **3 seconds** "Will this help with what you planned today?" **1 second** "Your choice." Then you can decide whether to continue. ## Make Your Pause Personal Choose the style that fits you. • Calm • Motivational • Funny • Direct With Pause Pro, create your own messages and build a countdown that speaks directly to you. For example: "Why did I block Instagram?" ↓ "I wanted to finish my work." ↓ "Is this really important?" ↓ "Think before entering." ↓ "Your choice." ## Choose What You Want to Pause Select the apps and categories you want to put behind a pause. Use Apple's Screen Time technologies to configure the apps you want Pause to manage. You stay in control of your choices. ## Create Your Schedule Choose when Pause should step in. Set schedules around: • Work • Study • Sleep • Exercise • Personal focus time Create the boundaries that make sense for your day. ## Track Your Progress See how often Pause gives you a moment to reconsider. View statistics such as: • Pause sessions • Times you entered anyway • Successful pauses • Time delayed Use the information to better understand your digital habits. ## Pause Pro Unlock the full Pause experience with: • Unlimited blocked apps • Multiple schedules • Custom countdown durations • All message packs • Custom warning messages • Custom message sequences • Advanced statistics • More personalization options Choose a monthly or annual subscription, or purchase lifetime access when available. ## Designed for Focus Pause is intentionally simple. No complicated productivity system. No endless dashboards. Just a small interruption between: **Impulse → Pause → Choice** Your attention is yours. Take a moment before you give it away. ### Privacy Pause is designed with privacy in mind. Your app selections, schedules, custom messages, and personal statistics are handled locally where possible.
