The air around you is full of invisible signals. SigScan makes them visible. Turn once and see which way everything is. The radar places every nearby Bluetooth device around you by distance, on a compass that turns with you. Turn in a circle and SigScan finds each device's direction from how its signal rises and falls. Point your phone around a room and every nearby Bluetooth device appears as a floating bubble in augmented reality, anchored in real space. Devices behind walls fade; off-screen devices show as compass arrows. ON-DEVICE INTELLIGENCE Every identification SigScan makes happens on your iPhone, offline, in milliseconds. No scan data is uploaded to be analysed. - Identity engine: each broadcast is broken into signals (company, services, product codes, name) and weighed against an on-device index of 22,000+ manufacturers. The strongest claim wins; runners-up show what else a device could be. - Confidence and evidence: every result carries a confidence score and the exact evidence it was built from. - Device classes: phones, computers, wearables, audio, trackers, TVs, cameras, smart home gear and appliances are told apart from the broadcast itself. Brands that make many kinds of product are never guessed. - Anomaly detection: devices that move with you, unnamed high-power devices and known trackers are surfaced automatically. - Live sensor decoding: temperature, humidity, battery, motion and contact state are read straight from the air. WHAT SIGSCAN SEES - Bluetooth devices: manufacturer, product, signal strength and estimated distance - NFC tags: hold your phone against a tag to decode what is on it - Your network: details of the WiFi network you are joined to, local devices, services and discovery traffic - HomeKit accessories: every one by room, with model, serial and firmware version - Cellular: your network type and radio technology EVERY MANUFACTURER, NOT A SHORTLIST SigScan carries the complete Bluetooth industry registry and the full IEEE hardware registry: more than 22,000 manufacturers and 44,000 identifiers, held entirely on your device. Where a manufacturer publishes its advertising format, SigScan names the exact product: SwitchBot and Xiaomi devices are identified down to the model. THE CHIP AND THE BRAND ARE DIFFERENT THINGS Most devices use somebody else's radio, so scanners often report a sensor as an Espressif or Nordic device. SigScan reports chip maker and brand separately. FIND UNKNOWN TRACKERS SigScan flags known tracker models and hardware from vendors on the FCC Covered List or restricted under Section 889, including their subsidiaries. YOUR SCAN HISTORY, MAPPED Every scan is saved on your device with where it happened. Review sessions on a map and export as CSV. ASK QUESTIONS IN PLAIN ENGLISH An optional assistant answers questions about your scan results, such as what the strongest unknown device near you is or whether anything new appeared in the last ten minutes. It is the one feature that uses the internet: it sends a short summary of the devices SigScan has already identified, never your location and never any device identifier. SHARE, WIDGET AND YOUR WAY Share any device with friends through Messages, AirDrop or Mail. Add the home screen widget to see what your last scan found. Choose which screens sit in your tab bar, and pick Light, Dark or System appearance. EVERYTHING EXPLAINED Tap the information icon beside any reading for a plain explanation, or open the glossary. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your scan data and locations never leave your device. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. REQUIREMENTS - iPhone with iOS 17 or later - AR features work best on LiDAR-equipped iPhones (iPhone 12 Pro and later Pro models) - Bluetooth, camera and location permissions for full functionality SigScan is a tool for understanding your own wireless surroundings and checking your own devices and spaces.
