Rotless

Your feed wants one more scroll. Then another. Then somehow it’s 2 a.m. That’s brain rot. Rotless helps you rot a little less—and live a little more. Pick the apps that keep pulling you back. When you want to scroll, do something real first: touch grass, drink water, read a few pages, tidy up, work out, get some sun, or cook a meal. Snap a live photo. If it checks out, your brain plant gets healthier and you earn points. Spend those points to unlock your chosen apps for a limited time. No guilt trip. No “delete every app and become a monk” speech. Just a tiny pause between the impulse and the scroll. HOW TO ROT LESS Block the apps that eat your time. Do one small thing in real life. Snap it. Earn points. Grow your plant. Trade points for scroll time. Enjoy the scroll—because this time, you chose it. TOUCH GRASS. LITERALLY. • Touch Grass • Drink Water • Read a Few Pages • Tidy Up • Workout • Get Some Sun • Cook a Meal ALSO INSIDE • App blocking powered by Apple’s Screen Time controls • AI-assisted live photo check-ins • Flexible unlock times • Adjustable difficulty—from Easy to Monk • A brain plant that knows when you’ve been scrolling too much • Restore Purchase and subscription management YOUR PHOTO DOESN’T LIVE HERE Rotless uses your live photo only to verify the check-in you chose. It isn’t saved, and Rotless doesn’t need access to your photo library. Apple protects the identities of apps selected through Screen Time controls. Rotless does not use your activity for advertising or cross-company tracking. SUBSCRIPTION Rotless offers auto-renewable Weekly and Yearly subscriptions. If a free trial is offered and you are eligible, your subscription begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Availability, trial eligibility, and pricing may vary by region. Privacy Policy: https://rotless.app/pages/privacy/index Terms of Use: https://rotless.app/pages/terms/index
Daybearing
Read full descriptionHide full description
Daybearing is a clock face for your day. Say what you are doing and how long you think it will take. Tasks fill the current hour as you go and turns as you run over — one glance, not a number to read. HOW IT WORKS Type what you want to get done, one task at a time. Tap Start. When you finish a task, tap Complete — and the next task begins. The dial is a real clock face, and your tasks sit on it where they will actually happen. See the plan for the next hour, any planned work beyond that is shown as you mark tasks complete. WHAT THE COLORS MEAN Orange means you are over your estimate but the task is still running — over, and still fixable. It turns red once you complete an overrunning task, because by then the overrun is a fact rather than a situation. The pace chip shows how far ahead or behind your plan you are, green for ahead, red for behind. Three minutes under reads as −3, in green, three minutes ahead of schedule. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO There is no pause. Daybearing shows your work against reality, and time doesn't stop. A timer you can stop measures how long you had it running, not how long the work took. If you need to stop working on something, Set Down ends the session, logs time for the part you actually did, and returns the remainder to the queue. There are no subtasks, tags, categories or statistics screens. No clutter, just what you need to stay on track. PRIVACY No account is required. Your tasks and history are stored locally on your iPhone. There is NO SUBSCRIPTION, NO IN-APP PURCHASE and NO ADVERTISING. You pay once. ALSO IN THE APP • A Live Activity for the running task — on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island, on supported Apple Watch and Mac configurations — with a Complete button on the Lock Screen, so you can finish without opening the app. • Lock Screen widgets: how far ahead or behind the day is, the task in hand, and what comes next. • Shortcut support! Ask Siri to start your next task, complete it, add one, or say how you are doing — for the moment your hands are already off the phone. • An optional chime when a task reaches its estimate. • Batch entry for repeated work: set a series of tasks quickly, estimate how long each one will take and how long your want to work on them all. • Save tasks to a plan for later, and group future tasks to make repeatable routines. • Export your whole record as tab-separated text, straight to the clipboard. • Six themes, light and dark. • VoiceOver support and adjustable text sizing. iPhone only in this version. iPad is planned.
