Pipe Craftsmen is the pipefitter's toolbox: the numbers you work to, in the tape's own language, with every dimension copied from the published tables and every drawing showing where the number runs on the steel. THE SPOOL Build a spool piece by piece - pipe, fittings, valves, field welds - branching at a tee. Add an offset the way you measure it, run and offset, or a rolled one with its roll; the elbows go in by themselves, stock 45s or a 90 cut down to the odd angle. Lay an equal spread beside it. Read the drawing as an iso, a plan or any elevation, tap a pipe to put the ruler on it, and get the cut list: center to center less the fittings, every weld counted. THE ISOMETRIC Draw a run leg by leg, or sketch it with a finger on the grid. Turn the compass, swipe between the iso, the plan and the elevations. With the bender attached, every turn becomes a bend: the tube to cut, each bend's angle and centerline mark, and the roll between bends. THE CALCULATOR Feet, inches and fractions natively - 5'-6" + 3'-9" reads back 9'-3". Metric keys, angle mode with decimal and DMS entry, store and recall shared across every keypad in the app, session history, and your starred measurements one tap from the display. THE FITTINGS REFERENCE Every dimension of every fitting, from the published tables: butt weld, socket weld, threaded, flanges and grooved. Every page draws its fitting in section with the selected takeoff dimensioned on the steel. Set your root gap, socket pull-back, thread make-on and grooved separation once; every takeoff in the app follows. The Fitting Finder searches the whole set without leaving the calculator. THE TOOLS - Pipe Offset, plain or rolled: solve the triangle, then the fitting each end needs, the pipe between and its weight - Triangle: any two facts of the right triangle, the rest solved and drawn - Equal Spread: the advance that keeps parallel lines parallel through a turn - Miter Joints: cut angle, cutback, and the blank drawn flat on the bench - Fitting Cutdown: a 90 cut to any angle, with the three arcs to mark - Rolled Olet: set a roll angle with a tape measure - Tube Bending: one bend, a run of bends, or a run drawn as an iso - Pipe Information: bore, wall, circumference, and the weights you rig by IN YOUR POCKET Built for a phone held one-handed on a rack: big keys, answers that read at arm's length, and everything working without a signal. On an iPad the pages open out. PRO The calculator, pipe information and a selection of fittings in every connection are free. Pro opens the rest: a monthly or yearly subscription, or a lifetime license bought once that never renews. A pipefitter's offset calculator. One-time purchase β no subscription, no ads, no accounts. Enter an offset and a fitting angle and get travel, run and the cut length, with a drawing that redraws as you type β so a mistyped number shows up as a wrong shape before it becomes a wrong cut. FREE Β· Simple offsets at 11ΒΌ, 22Β½, 30, 45, 60 and 90 degrees Β· Grade and fall β percent and inches per foot Β· Feet-inch-fractions: type 12'6-3/8" the way you write it, or millimetres Β· The live drawing, in every mode UNLOCK ONCE Β· Rolling offsets β set and roll in, true offset, travel, and the roll angle to turn the fitting to Β· Take-outs β cut length with both fittings subtracted, from ASME B16.9 elbow tables Β· Measure your own fitting and save it, for the angles no standard tabulates Β· Pipe data β steel schedule 40 and 80, outside diameter, wall, inside diameter WHERE THE NUMBERS COME FROM The geometry is verified two ways: published trade multipliers, and a check that rebuilds each offset as 3-D coordinates and measures it without using trigonometry at all β so it cannot share a wrong assumption with the formula it checks. Take-outs are a published table cross-checked against two independent references. Every table names its source inside the app. BUILT FOR THE JOB Works with no signal. No account, no sign-in, nothing to lose in a plant room. Glove-sized keys, a fraction key, and a backspace rather than a clear-all. Full VoiceOver support and text that scales to the largest accessibility size.
