Discover your true vocal range. Vocal Range Finder listens through your microphone as you sing, tracks every note you hit, and reveals your lowest note, your highest note, and the voice type that fits your range — from deep bass to soaring soprano. Just sing down to your lowest comfortable note, then slide up to your highest, and the app pins your range on a piano-style keyboard (for example C2–A4) and tells you whether you sing as a bass, baritone, tenor, alto, mezzo-soprano or soprano. WHAT YOU GET • Lowest & highest note — sing freely while the app captures the bottom and top of your range in real time. • Vocal range result — your full span shown as notes (like E2 to G5) with the number of octaves you cover. • Voice type — see whether your range matches bass, baritone, tenor, countertenor, alto, mezzo-soprano or soprano. • Live pitch detection — a clear note readout and tuner-style display follow your voice as you sing. • Keyboard view — watch your lowest and highest notes light up on a piano so your range is easy to picture. • Retest anytime — warm up, try again, and see how your range opens up over weeks of practice. WHO IT'S FOR Singers and vocalists curious about their range, choir members finding their part (SATB), voice and music students, karaoke fans picking the right key, music teachers, and anyone who has ever wondered "what's my voice type?" HOW IT WORKS The app uses your device microphone to detect the pitch of each note you sing, then maps the lowest and highest pitches to standard note names and a voice-type range. Find a quiet room, warm up gently, and sing steady single notes for the clearest reading. A NOTE ON ACCURACY Results depend on your microphone, background noise and how warmed up your voice is. Voice-type boundaries vary between methods and teachers, so treat the result as a helpful guide, not a strict classification. Always warm up and never strain to reach extreme notes.

About

IntervalEar

Features

We won't promise you perfect pitch — for adults that's next to impossible, and honest apps shouldn't claim otherwise. IntervalEar trains relative pitch, the skill every musician actually uses: hearing the distance between two notes. 20-LEVEL TRAINING PATH, ALL FREE. Start by telling an octave from a unison, then add fifths, fourths, thirds… up to all 12 intervals. Ascending melodies first, then descending, finally harmonic (both notes at once). Pass each level at 90% accuracy. Levels unlock purely by your own progress — nothing is behind a paywall. MISTAKES ARE THE LESSON. Every wrong answer offers "hear it again" and "compare": the correct interval, then the one you chose, back to back until your ear locks in the difference. Replay as often as you like before answering — no penalty. NOTE NAMING, ALL THREE TIERS OPEN. Hear the reference note C, then name the target note. White keys, all 12 notes, or memory reference (reference plays once per session). Unlimited sessions. VISIBLE PROGRESS. Accuracy curve over your last 30 sessions, per-interval mastery bars (weakest on top), and your top 3 mix-ups. DAILY PRACTICE. One 3-minute session a day keeps your streak alive. THREE LANGUAGES. English, 简体中文, 日本語. About ads and privacy: all training content is free, with a single banner at the bottom of the screen. Your practice records stay on your phone — never uploaded, no tracking, and no "Allow Tracking" prompt. Apart from that banner, every feature works offline. Prefer no banner? A one-time "Remove Ads" purchase is available in Settings. It only hides the banner — it does not unlock anything, because everything is already free.
