About

Ecoa

Features

Everything you say, kept to yourself. Ecoa is a voice-first second brain that never sends a single byte anywhere. Tap record and watch your words appear as you speak. When you stop, Ecoa titles the note, summarises it, files it into a category, and turns every commitment you made — "call John tomorrow at 9" — into a task with a real reminder. All of it happens on your iPhone. Ecoa contains no networking code at all. Turn on Airplane Mode: nothing changes. CAPTURE WITHOUT FRICTION • Live on-device transcription in 40+ languages — English, Português, Español, Deutsch, Français, 日本語 and more • Start from the Action Button, Control Center, Lock Screen, or Siri • Keeps recording with the screen locked; the Dynamic Island shows the take • Share any audio file — a voice note, a memo — straight into Ecoa for a full transcript and summary UNDERSTANDING, NOT JUST TRANSCRIPTS • On-device Apple Intelligence writes titles, summaries and key points • Auto-categorisation into categories you control — or let Ecoa create new ones • Spoken commitments become tasks with due dates and notifications • Ask your echo: question your own notes and get an answer with sources, fully offline • Weekly reflection: a short, private portrait of your week's themes A JOURNAL THAT STAYS YOURS • Optional Journal mode with a gentle daily prompt • One-swipe mood check-ins and wellbeing trends over time • Descriptive, never diagnostic — your words, reflected back PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE • No account. No analytics. No servers. No subscription. • Encrypted, passphrase-sealed backups to a folder you choose • Export everything as Markdown + audio, any time • A Privacy Receipt in Settings shows exactly what Ecoa can and cannot see One price. Yours forever. That's the point. Requires iOS 26. Apple Intelligence features require a supported iPhone; on other devices Ecoa uses its built-in analysis instead.

About

SpeechToMarkdown

Features

Turn your voice into clean, structured Markdown — entirely on your iPhone or iPad, with zero setup and zero cloud. Speech-to-Markdown listens as you talk and turns your rambling into a well-organized document in real time. Speech-to-text runs on Apple's on-device SpeechAnalyzer; formatting is handled by Apple's on-device Foundation Models. No servers, no API keys, no sign-in — it even works in airplane mode. HOW IT WORKS Just start a session and talk. As you speak, your words stream into a live document that gets restructured on the fly — headings, lists, and paragraphs appear as you go. Pause, resume, or start a new session anytime; everything is saved automatically and stays on your device. THREE WAYS TO USE YOUR VOICE • Format — free-form dictation. Ramble, and the whole document keeps getting reorganized as you add more. • Edit — turn your voice into an instruction. Select some text, then say "turn this into a bulleted list" or "rewrite the intro" and only that part changes. • Append — a fast mode for long documents. Only your new words get formatted and added to the end, so sessions stay quick no matter how long the document grows. THREE OUTPUT FORMATS Choose Markdown, plain text, or HTML — pick per session, switch anytime. BUILT FOR PRIVACY Everything happens on-device. There's no account to create, no analytics, no ads, and nothing is ever uploaded anywhere. Your recordings and documents live in the app's local storage and are visible in the Files app, under your control. SESSION HISTORY Every session is saved automatically. Reopen any past session to keep talking, edit the document, or export it — your raw transcript is always one tap away from the formatted result. GREAT FOR Meeting notes, journaling, blog and spec drafts, to-do lists, brainstorms, voice memos you actually want to read later — anywhere you'd rather talk than type. REQUIREMENTS iOS 26 or later on an Apple Intelligence–capable device: iPhone 15 Pro or newer, or an Apple Silicon iPad, with Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings.
