CATCH THE THOUGHT BEFORE ITβS GONE. Record on iPhone or Apple Watch and turn your voice into private, editable notes. Copy a thought straight into your next message, find it later in your notes, or automatically add new notes to Apple Reminders or Things. HOW IT WORKS β’ Start from what is closest. Use the app, Apple Watch, a widget, Control Center, or Shortcuts. On iPhone, you can also say βSiri, start recording with Teika.β β’ Talk until you are done. Teika keeps listening when you pause to think and stops when you tap again. β’ Keep the words. Every transcription is copied to your clipboard and saved in your notes library. Open a saved note to edit its text or copy it again. β’ Turn thoughts into tasks. Enable Apple Reminders or Things in Notes Settings to automatically add each new voice note to your task list. YOUR NOTES, YOUR TASK LIST Choose a list in Apple Reminders and add notes with no date or schedule them for today, without leaving Teika. Prefer Things? Send new notes to its Inbox or Today; Things must be installed and opens briefly to add the task. Task integrations are off until you enable them. Only new notes are exported; existing notes and later edits stay in Teika. Notes recorded on Apple Watch are transcribed on your iPhone, with task delivery continuing when Teika is open and idle. If a task needs attention, retry or skip it in Notes Settings. Check your task app before retrying an unconfirmed delivery to avoid duplicates. PRIVATE, ON-DEVICE TRANSCRIPTION Teika runs its speech recognition model on your iPhone. Your recordings are not uploaded to a Teika server, and your speech is not sent to an AI service. After setup, transcription works in Airplane Mode. Record on your paired Apple Watch and the clip is transferred to your iPhone for local transcription. The Watch can queue recordings while disconnected. If you enable task integrations, exported note text may sync through your Reminders account or Things Cloud. ONE-TIME SETUP Teika needs a one-time speech-model download of about 0.5 GB. Before it starts, Teika shows the size and provider and asks for your permission. Free. No account, ads, subscription, or tracking.
