Overprint

Overprint turns a photo into a screen-printed poster, the way a real print shop would pull it: separated by tone, screened into halftone dots, and laid down one spot ink at a time. This isn't a filter. Every layer is a real screen. Drag the squeegee and the ink develops across the sheet, heavy where you pull slow, thin where you pull fast, so no two pulls are the same. THE PRESS - Import any photo and Overprint auto-levels it onto the ink, so bright subjects read instead of washing out to bare paper. - Real halftone screening with per-ink angles, so the inks interleave instead of muddying, exactly like a physical press. - Overprint two inks and the overlap multiplies into a third color, the effect the app is named for. - Set text in heavy poster type and place it anywhere on the sheet. - Warm paper stocks with real tooth, from bright white to midnight. PULL BY HAND - Grab the squeegee and pull. Speed and dwell become ink body and gradient. - Split-fountain and gradient pulls roll one ink into another across the sheet. - Tune each ink's body, screen angle, and registration. EXPORT AND SHARE - Share a clean, web-ready poster for free, with a small Overprint mark. - Overprint Plus removes it and unlocks the full print shop: full-resolution files, one file per ink separation for the printer, a proof PDF with registration and crop marks, and apparel mockups. OVERPRINT PLUS One purchase. Yours forever. Family Sharing and a free Restore. - Take home prints with 3 to 6 spot inks - Premium inks: a metallic gold with a real glint, a fluoro magenta glow - Manual press controls: split-fountain and gradient pulls - Print-grade export: full resolution, separations, and a proof PDF Made for anyone who loves the look of a screen-printed gig poster, a risograph zine, or a two-color art print, without the ink under your nails.

About

Glyphiz

Features

Glyphiz is a glyph editor for iPhone and iPad that treats the text you type as individual glyphs and lets you edit and deform the font outlines as vector paths. Beyond ordinary text entry, converting letters to outlines turns the letterforms themselves into free-form vector objects. It's built for design work where the shape of the type is the point β€” logos, headlines, posters, and title art for social media. β–  Text and Glyph, kept separate Every character in a string is managed as its own object. Adjust font, size, tracking and vertical writing, then convert to outlines to get vector "Glyphs." From that point on the artwork no longer depends on the original font β€” it is rebuilt from the stored paths. β–  Edit BΓ©zier paths directly Drag anchor points and control handles to reshape a letter's outline. Add and remove anchors, and marquee-select a run of anchors to move them together. β–  Non-destructive deforms Wave, Arc and Random deforms are stored as parameters you can re-tune at any time. Random keeps its seed, so reopening a project reproduces exactly the same result. Move, scale, rotate and angle are non-destructive too. β–  Layers, canvas, background Add, delete, duplicate, reorder, show/hide and lock layers. Canvas presets cover A0–A7, B0–B7, circular, and a free size in millimetres. Backgrounds can be transparent, solid, gradient or image; transparent shows a checkerboard in the editor and exports as genuinely transparent PNG. β–  Color Solid fills plus Linear, Radial and Angular gradients, with editable colors, positions and angle. β–  Placing images Import a photo from your library and place it on the canvas. Move, scale and rotate it (Glyphiz does not edit the image itself β€” no color correction, cropping, and so on). β–  Export - PNG (1x / 2x / 3x, transparency supported) - JPG (1x / 2x / 3x) - Vector PDF (glyphs are exported as paths, not rasterized β€” ideal for high-resolution print) Projects are saved on device in the app's own ".glyphiz" format (JSON-based) and stay fully re-editable. β–  Gestures One-finger drag to select and move, two-finger drag to pan the canvas, pinch to zoom, two-finger rotate to rotate, tap to select, long-press for a context menu. Undo / Redo included. β–  Privacy No sign-in, no account. All project data is stored on your device and is never sent to an external server. The core editing features work offline. Note: this app displays ads.
