Every hour you scroll, your body sits still. Hips stiffen. Your back starts to complain. It's slow, until it isn't. Stretchy trades a few minutes of scroll time for the movement that undoes it: five simple mobility stretches, every day, before you open your apps. Here's the deal: your distracting apps lock once a day, at a time you choose. To unlock them, you do a short stretching routine in front of your phone's camera. Stretchy checks that you're really doing each move. Finish, and your apps unlock until tomorrow. HOW IT WORKS - Pick the apps that eat your time (Instagram, TikTok, you know the ones) - Choose your lock time and a 1, 3, or 5 minute routine - When they lock, do the stretches: overhead reach, deep squat, side lunge, forward fold and kneeling hip stretch - The camera checks each move, and the clock only runs while you hold it - Finish, and your apps unlock until tomorrow MEET STRETCHY Stretchy starts out stiff. Every day you stretch, he loosens up a level. There are 15 levels, from Threw Out My Back to Noodle. Skip a day and he stiffens back up. WHY IT WORKS Skipping one day feels like nothing. That's exactly how stiffness creeps in. Stretchy makes moving the only way back to your phone. A few minutes a day adds up to 18 to 30 hours of mobility a year. ALSO - Streaks and a 90 day journey - A home screen widget - An emergency unlock for when you really need it PRIVATE BY DESIGN No accounts and no ads. The camera runs entirely on your device using Apple's on device body pose detection. Nothing is ever recorded or uploaded. Stretchy can't even see which apps you picked. Apple's Screen Time technology keeps that private. Stretchy requires a subscription.
