Kharcha Diary is a simple, private, and powerful personal finance tracker built specifically for Nepali users. Whether you want to track your daily expenses or manage your monthly salary and investments, Kharcha Diary makes it effortless. No complicated setup, no account required, no internet needed — just open the app and start tracking. What is Kharcha Diary? Kharcha Diary is your personal digital khata — a smart notebook for your money. It helps you record every rupee you earn, spend, and invest. Over time, it gives you a clear picture of your financial habits so you can make better decisions and save more. Record Expenses, Income, and Investments Kharcha Diary supports three types of entries — expenses, income, and investments. Adding a record is quick and natural. Just type the amount and category, and Kharcha Diary does the rest. Add hashtags to organize entries and find spending patterns easily. The app remembers your recent tags and suggests them automatically as you type. Daily View and Navigation The home screen shows today's date in Bikram Sambat calendar. Navigate day by day using arrow buttons or pick any date using the built-in Nepali date picker. The bottom of the screen always shows today's total expense and this month's total — so you always know where you stand at a glance. Budget Alerts Set a monthly budget in settings. When your expenses reach 90% of your budget, a warning appears on the home screen reminding you to slow down. Simple and effective. Analysis and Insights The analysis screen gives you a complete financial overview. The yearly summary shows total earned, total spent, total invested, net savings, and average monthly expense. The monthly overview lets you select any month and see the same breakdown. Below that you will find tag analysis showing your top spending tags, top 5 individual expenses of the month, and a full spending breakdown with percentage share per entry sortable by amount, name, or percentage. Nepali Calendar Support Kharcha Diary is built for Nepali users with full Bikram Sambat support. Months display in Nepali names like Baisakh, Jestha, and Ashadh. The date picker uses the Nepali calendar so you never need to convert between AD and BS dates manually. Bilingual — English and Nepali Switch between English and Nepali language anytime from settings. When Nepali is selected, all text, numbers, and dates display in Nepali script and numerals. Fully accessible for users comfortable in either language. Export to Excel Export your records to an Excel (.xlsx) file anytime. Choose a custom date range and save the file directly to your device. The exported file includes date, category, amount, type, and tags. When Nepali language is selected, the file uses Nepali headers, dates, and numerals. Backup and Restore Create a full backup of your data as a .db file and save it to your device. Restore it anytime with a single tap. No cloud account required. Your backup stays completely on your device, private and under your control. 100% Private Kharcha Diary works completely offline. No internet connection. No data collection. No tracking. No ads. No accounts. All your financial data is stored only on your device using local storage. Nobody — not even Ora Technologies — can access your data. Free Forever Kharcha Diary is completely free. No in-app purchases. No premium tier. No subscription. Every feature is available to every user at no cost. Download Kharcha Diary today and take control of your finances.

About

Hisab

Features

Hisab (हिसाब) turns the statements you already download into a clear picture of your money — without your data ever leaving your phone. Import transaction exports from Google Pay, Paytm, or BHIM, and bank statements from HDFC Bank or IDFC FIRST Bank (PDF, XLSX, XLS, or TXT — password-protected PDFs supported). Hisab parses them deterministically and builds your personal bahi-khata: • MONTHLY BUCKETS — every statement lights up the months it covers; a yearly statement fills twelve at once. See at a glance which months still await which statement. • RECONCILIATION — every app payment is matched against your bank statement by UPI reference. Instantly see which payments the bank confirms, which are missing, and what you spent outside the apps. • NO DOUBLE COUNTING — re-import a statement, import overlapping periods, or the same statement in two formats: transaction identity guarantees zero duplicates. Bank rows matched to app payments count once. Transfers between your own accounts are excluded automatically. • ANALYTICS — monthly spend, income and net, six-month trend, category breakdown with editable rules, top merchants. Amounts in proper Indian notation (₹1,23,456.78). • PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE — no account, no analytics, no tracking. Your ledger stays in the app's private storage on your device and statements are read on the phone. The two AI features — Find in text and monthly insights — send only the text you ask about, or a month's totals and merchant names, to Hisab's gateway and its model provider, on a free credit balance every install starts with. The entire app is open source (Apache-2.0). Made for India's statement formats. Missing your bank? The parser framework is open — contribute one on GitHub.
