Book Catalog turns your bookshelves into a searchable personal collection. Photograph a shelf, review the recognized titles, and save the books you own. You can also scan ISBN barcodes, search by title or author, enter books by hand, or import a Goodreads or StoryGraph CSV. Try the complete workflow with five saved books, shared across all entry methods. Upgrade to Pro to build your full collection. The preview does not reset each day. Books you have already saved stay accessible. SCAN AND CHECK Photograph a shelf and review the titles and authors found on its spines. Every match shows a confidence level, and uncertain matches are flagged for you to check. Nothing is added until you confirm. Photo recognition happens on your device. Only recognized words and ISBNs are sent to book catalogs for matching; your photo stays on your phone. BUILD YOUR PERSONAL COLLECTION Save your first five books by any combination of shelf scan, barcode, catalog search, manual entry or CSV import. Preview a large import before saving it. With Pro, add your entire collection without a book limit, including large imports and whole-shelf batches. KNOW THE COPY YOU OWN Pro collector fields record first edition, printing number, dust jacket, condition, signed copies, provenance, purchase price and estimated value. See a running total for your collection. Values are your own estimates, not professional appraisals. AVOID DUPLICATES Get a warning before adding a book you already own. The app distinguishes another copy of the same edition from a different edition of the same work. Pro includes a duplicates report for the whole library. KEEP READING Organize books on custom shelves. Track reading status, page progress, reading sessions, quotes and loans. Set an annual reading goal and follow your pace, streaks and reading statistics. These tools remain available for your saved books when you are not using Pro. BRING YOUR LIBRARY WITH YOU Preview Goodreads, StoryGraph and compatible CSV files, including titles, authors, ratings and reading dates. Imported books share the five-book preview. Pro unlocks full-library imports, CSV export and an insurance inventory PDF with condition and value. PRIVATE AND ACCESSIBLE Your library is stored on your device and can sync through your private iCloud database. No separate account is required. Dynamic Type and VoiceOver are supported. The camera is optional: catalog search, manual entry and import provide other ways to build your collection. BOOK CATALOG PRO Pro unlocks unlimited collection building with every entry method, collector fields and collection valuation, the duplicates report, and CSV and insurance PDF export. Choose a weekly or yearly auto-renewable subscription, or a lifetime purchase that does not renew. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
