Duck Duck Bread

Somewhere in a sun-dappled park there is a pond, and the pond has ducks, and the ducks have plans. Duck Duck Bread is a cozy idle game about feeding ducks until the situation escalates. It begins with you flicking crumbs at a pond. It ends with an orbital bread the size of a small moon. The ducks consider this a normal career arc. Tap the Big Loaf. It squashes. Crumbs fly. Ducks approve. Then hire your first employee โ a Rubber Ducky that doesn't eat, doesn't swim, and squeaks encouragingly while crumbs somehow appear โ and watch the counter move on its own. From there, the operation grows. You will not need a tutorial. The ducks are professionals. THE FLOCK'S BUSINESS PLAN โข Flick crumbs at the Big Loaf. Fill the Surge meter. Land the occasional critical flick. Feel the squash. โข Build 12 generators in order of increasing seriousness: Rubber Ducky, Duckling Patrol, Mallard With A Little Hat (the hat adds 40% productivity โ this is documented), Bread Stand, Sourdough Pond, The Quack Exchange, Duckingham Palace, The Crumbernet, Air Fowl One, The Mother Loaf, and โ for accomplished migrators โ The Great Migration Fleet and the Embassy of Grain. โข Catch the Golden Goose. Every few minutes it glides across the pond. Tap it for a windfall. It honks once, pays in gold, and leaves. Classic goose. โข Sleep on the job. The Bread Basket keeps earning for up to 8 hours while the app is closed. Your 34 Mallards will keep their hats on all night. โข Fly South for the Winter. When the pond slows, migrate. Return to a fresh spring with permanent Golden Feathers, and spend them on Migration Routes โ pick your path, keep what matters, go faster forever. โข Collect 24 Pond Postcards, each documenting a milestone with the gravity it deserves ("The ducks have unionized."). โข Hats. Eight of them. They are cosmetic. The ducks wear them anyway. โข Milestone multipliers, 38 upgrades, Synergy Links, achievements, and numbers with letters after them. A NOTE ON MONEY (THE HUMAN KIND) Everything in Duck Duck Bread can be earned by playing. Optional purchases exist โ croutons (bread that got fancy), a starter basket, and one tasteful license that skips the bonus waits โ but there are no forced ads, no interstitials, no fake countdowns, and nothing you must buy to reach the ending. The pond is honest. It is mostly water and ambition. The bread is rising. The goose is circling. The hat stays on.
Idle Loom
Read full descriptionHide full description
Idle Loom is an idle game about running a weaving mill, and about the cloth itself. Start with a single hand loom. Sell your first metres of fabric, buy another, and climb through seven generations of weaving machinery: hand looms, shuttle looms, rapiers, projectiles, air-jets, Jacquard machines, and finally the mill line. Your floor fills up as you grow, and the camera leans in with it. TIME THE MARKET Cloth prices drift. Sell into a peak and pocket the difference; sell into a trough and learn for next time. The market band tells you when the moment is right; a small decision that keeps every session interesting. DRAFT YOUR OWN WEAVES This is the part no other idle game has. When you're ready to prestige, you don't press a button; you sit down at the dobby grid and draw a weave, cell by cell, the way drafts are written on real point paper. Watch it become cloth in the live preview as you draw. Twills, basket weaves, weft-faced drapes, figured damasks: the game reads your pattern's real structure: floats, interlacing, symmetry; and stamps it Plain, Sound, Fine, or Masterwork. Better cloth, better rewards. SIGN IT. KEEP IT FOREVER. Signing a contract resets your mill for the next run and files your design in the gallery, the actual pattern you drew, woven up, with its date and its rank. Share any design as an image. Your gallery is the story of your craft, and nothing can take it from you. GROW THE GROUND ITSELF Earn stars with every signature and spend them on special projects and ground expansions; new terraces that wrap around your mill floor and make room for the heaviest machinery. HONEST BY DESIGN โข Progress is earned. No purchase can buy stars, design ranks, or a better draw - ever. โข A handful of optional extras exist (a production doubler, an auto-seller, time warps, thread colours). All of them are conveniences; the whole game is completable without spending anything. โข No account. No sign-in. Your save lives on your device, and the mill keeps weaving while you're away. Warp up. The market is waiting.
