loopdaloop is a beat maker that grooves the moment you touch it ā and hands you the controls the moment you want them. Tap a pad and a beat, a bass line or a pad starts playing, on the beat, in key, already swinging. Hold an orb and a halo of moves fans out around it: make it busier or calmer, flip the pattern, swap the instrument, shift the octave, draw the beat by hand, grab the tone, ride the faders. Nothing you do can be out of time or out of key. Everything you do lands on the next bar. GROOVING IN ONE TAP ⢠Add sound: a surprise voice lands on the deck and speaks right away ā a kit, a bass, a lead, a pad, a texture. ⢠Every pattern swings: a swing groove and light humanization are built in, and a groove readout lets you dial it from straight to deep. ⢠Fill, drop, lift, flip, more hits, fewer hits, half-time, double-time: one tap each, quantized, self-resolving. Mash buttons, get an arrangement. ⢠Whole-deck warps: echo, space, dark, crush, phaser, flanger, a Leslie cabinet, auto-wah, pump ā and you can see them. Echo ripples the sky, space hazes it, the Leslie spins around its orb. TAKING CONTROL ⢠Hold an orb for its halo: busier, calmer, half-time, double-time, flip, swap, octave up and down, duplicate, tone, faders, edit, banish. ⢠Draw the beat: a 16-step grid per sound. Drums get a row per voice, melodies a row per note of the key ā so anything you draw stays in key by construction, and it sounds the moment you paint it. ⢠Sounds you can shape: a four-band EQ on every sound, drawn as one curve. Drag a node and hear the band sweep. ⢠A fader for every hit: mix the kit live ā kick, snare, clap, hats, toms, ride, crash ā while it keeps playing. ⢠Paint the chords: a harmony lane with one chord per bar. Bass, lead and pads follow it, voice-led, never clashing. ⢠Melt anything into anything: drag one orb onto another and in one bar they become a single new instrument sharing the timbre and rhythm of both. ⢠A stage you can hear: the band stands in front of a listener, and every sound plays from where its orb stands. Carry an orb left and it moves left; drums and bass hold the centre. Walk the listener through the band and the mix follows. ⢠Two faders on every orb: down for the filter, across for the echo. Hold a fader to swap in a tape delay, filtered echo, ping pong, flanger, phaser, bitcrush, autopan, stereolizer, auto envelope, spring or church reverb. ⢠Loop any move: press an orb or a fader, then drag ā it loops. ⢠Infinite undo. Every move on the deck can be walked back to the start of the session. DRUMS THAT RING TRUE ⢠Fourteen drum machines, synthesized on your phone the way the originals work: analog circuits that ring on when you hit them fast, sampling machines with their own clocks, bit depths and chokes, hats and cymbals that shimmer. No samples, ever. Basses, leads and pads with accent, slide, detune and drive. ⢠Seventeen drum styles ā house, disco, funk, pop, boom bap, trap, drill, grime, electro, big beat, big room, rolling techno, 2-step, half-time, footwork, gqom, dembow ā written to groove, not to fill. Every sound you add is picked for the tempo and the style already playing. ⢠14 chord journeys and 7 moods. The whole deck follows the harmony; the drums are tuned to the key too. ⢠Take the kits with you: "loopdaloop drums" is an Audio Unit instrument for GarageBand, Logic and any AU host ā seventy presets over MIDI, tune and decay per voice. SONGS AND SCENES ⢠Capture the deck as a scene, tap scenes in any order, keep songs. Every new song rolls a fresh tempo, key, mood and groove, and every song remembers its own. ⢠Line scenes up in the sequencer lane: tap a step and the song plays itself from there. ⢠Everything is on your phone, fully offline. No account, no samples to download, no subscription to play. There is no manual because there is no wrong move. Tap. Hold. Drag. It's already grooving ā you're in control.

Record your cat, a sneeze, a sound from a TikTok. FlipDeck trims it, chops it and puts it on pads you can play like an instrument. Then it turns your performance into a video you can post. MAKE A BEAT OUT OF ANYTHING ⢠Hold an empty pad to record from the mic. Eight effects (bass boost, fuzz, robot, octave up and down, and more) are recorded straight into the sample. ⢠Sample any video in your Photos, or import audio files. ⢠Chop a loop into slices automatically, or tap along to set the cuts. ⢠Split a song into drums, vocals, bass and other with on-device AI. PLAY IT ⢠64 pads in four banks, with volume, pitch, pan, envelopes, a 3-band EQ and choke groups on every pad. ⢠Keys mode plays any sound across a scale. Twelve scales, any root. ⢠A built-in synth with five waveforms, a resonant filter and envelopes. Every note is generated live. ⢠Note repeat and an arpeggiator, locked to the tempo. ⢠16 touch FX strips for live performance: stutter, tape echo, filter sweeps, reverse and more. SEQUENCE IT ⢠32 patterns you can switch between on the beat or the bar. ⢠Record live, draw in a step grid, or write melodies in a full piano roll with velocity. ⢠Swing, probability, note length, tap tempo. MIX IT ⢠Send pads to four buses, each with three effect slots: reverb, tempo-synced delay, filters, bitcrush, drive, compression and chorus. ⢠Load your AUv3 effect plugins right into FlipDeck. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: loopdaloop at none against FlipDeck's 1. FlipDeck's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
