Little Corkboard is the calm family planner for parents juggling school runs, clubs, appointments and everything in between — one shared corkboard the whole family can see. BRAIN DUMP IT Talk or type everything on your mind in one go — "swimming Friday, PE kit Monday, book the dentist" — and Little Corkboard splits it into tidy, dated notes on your board automatically. ONE SHARED FAMILY BOARD Today, Tomorrow Prep and the whole week at a glance. Everyone in the family sees the same plan, stays in the loop, and can tick things off as they're done. ONE SHARED CALENDAR Your own events plus your connected Apple, Google or Outlook calendars, side by side — coloured dots, quick filters for kids, school, activities and events, and a tap-any-day agenda. NEARBY IDEAS Stuck for something to do? Find free, cheap and rainy-day ideas near you, saved straight to your planner. FAMILY GAMES A few simple games and a shared leaderboard — a little fun pinned right alongside the plan. MEDICATION REMINDERS Set who takes what, the dose and the times — for kids, grown-ups and pets. Reminders arrive with Taken and Skip buttons, and everyone in your household can see when a dose has been given, so nobody doubles up. Lock the medication page with Face ID if you like. Free for everyone. Little Corkboard sends reminders only and doesn't give medical advice. SHARED SHOPPING LIST Type what you need, or say your whole list out loud and it's split into items and sorted by aisle. Your family sees the same list, and every tick shows up on their phones while you're still in the shop. Typing and sharing are free; saying your list out loud is part of Plus. LITTLE CORKBOARD PLUS Unlock unlimited brain dumps, unlimited family members, the full Nearby list, voice shopping lists and more with a Plus subscription. Little Corkboard is built for real family chaos — pinned down, one note at a time. Noteka
Read full descriptionHide full description
Noteka is a notepad that never goes online. Your notes live in one file on your phone and nowhere else. No account, no sign-in, no sync, no server, no analytics. Turn on airplane mode and everything works exactly the same. LOCK IT Set a PIN, or use your fingerprint or face. The PIN itself is never stored — only a salted hash of it, and that never leaves your device. Decide whether Noteka locks the moment you put it down, or a few minutes later. NOTES AND CHECKLISTS Write freely, or tick things off. Both are the same kind of note, so a shopping list turns into a paragraph and back with one tap. Press and drag a card to reorder it, in list or grid view, and drag items inside a checklist. REMINDERS THAT ACTUALLY ARRIVE Pick a date and time. Repeat once, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. They fire on the minute you chose, with no internet, and they survive a restart. TIMER Quick presets, or set hours, minutes and seconds exactly. The alert reaches you even with the app closed. KEEP IT TIDY Folders, pinned notes, seven card colours, an archive, search, and four ways to sort — including an order you drag into place yourself. IN YOUR LANGUAGE English, Türkçe, Español, Português, Deutsch, Français, Italiano, Русский, العربية, हिन्दी, Bahasa Indonesia, 日本語, 한국어, 中文 and Nederlands. Noteka opens in your phone's language on its own. NOTEKA PRO — ONE PAYMENT, NO SUBSCRIPTION The free version holds up to 30 notes, 3 reminders and 3 folders. Pro lifts every limit and adds backup and restore: one file with everything in it, saved wherever you choose. Because Noteka never uploads anything, that file is the only copy of your notes outside this phone. Notes you have already written stay readable and editable forever, with or without Pro. No subscription. No ads. No tracking. Nothing leaves your phone.

Verdict
Little Corkboard and Noteka are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Little Corkboard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Noteka sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
