Quick count: driver's license, car registration, car insurance, health insurance, passport, a certification or two, some memberships, a warranty. Now add your kids' documents. And your parents'. Any one of them is easy to remember. All of them together is not. That is the whole problem. Nobody forgets a passport because passports are hard. It was item eleven of fifteen, and nothing was keeping the list. DocDoc keeps the list, and reminds you while there is still time to do something about it. ONE LIST FOR EVERYONE YOU LOOK AFTER Add a profile for each person you track things for, and one for the car while you are at it. Profiles are free and unlimited, because the person who needs this app most is running a whole household. Reminders say who: "Emma's Passport expires in 90 days." EVERYTHING WITH A DATE, IN ONE PLACE Passports, licenses, registrations, insurance of every kind, professional licenses and certifications, visas, permits, memberships, warranties, inspections. If it expires, it goes on the list, sorted by what needs attention first. REMINDERS THAT ACTUALLY REMIND Nudges 90, 30, and 7 days before anything expires, and again on the day itself. Passports get a 6 month heads up too, because many countries turn you away if your passport expires within six months of travel. Day-of reminders use Time Sensitive notifications so they are hard to miss. You choose the lead times and the time of day. Optional email reminders back you up on the days your phone is off. SCAN THE DATE, SKIP THE TYPING Point the camera at a passport or license and DocDoc reads the expiration date on your device. Passport dates are verified with the check digits built into the passport itself. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your documents are never uploaded to us. Scanning happens on your phone, and the photo is saved with your document, encrypted, deletable any time. No analytics, no ads, no tracking. Email reminders are optional: turn them on and DocDoc creates an account with Sign in with Apple, storing only your email address and the reminder details it needs to send. Delete it in Settings whenever you like, and everything we stored goes with it. BUILT FOR REAL RENEWALS Mark a document renewed and the old date moves to history. Recurring documents roll forward automatically. Widgets put your next expiration on your home screen and lock screen. Attach receipts, photos, or PDFs, stored on your device and your own iCloud, never on our servers. Lock the whole app with Face ID. DATES IN YOUR OWN CALENDAR Turn on the Hebrew, Islamic, Persian, Indian, Buddhist, Chinese, Japanese or Ethiopic calendar and enter a date the way you actually know it. A yearly repeat advances by one year of that calendar, so a yahrzeit or an annual observance stays on its own date while the Gregorian one moves. Reminders always fire on the Gregorian date. FREE AND PRO Free includes 5 documents, unlimited profiles, reminders, scanning, widgets and iCloud sync. DocDoc Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that removes the document limit, with a 7 day free trial on the yearly plan. Or invite three friends and get six months of Pro free, no payment needed. DocDoc is made by one independent developer who got tired of expired documents. No venture capital, no growth team, no reason to collect your data. The next renewal is already on its way. Put it on the list. DocDoc Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. Your passport expired three weeks ago. You find out at the airport. Renewly makes sure that never happens. Add your documents once, and it reminds you well before they expire — while there is still time to renew. NEW IN 2.0: TRIP CHECK Planning a trip? Enter the destination and dates, and Trip Check compares them with your documents: whether each passport stays valid long enough for that country, whether you need a visa or travel authorization, and whether the visas you saved cover your stay. The visa rules come from official government sources and cover 14 destinations, including the Schengen area, the UK, the US, Canada, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Japan. Rules change, so confirm with the official source before you go. Trip Check is free; Unlimited saves your trips and checks your documents again before you leave. WHAT YOU CAN TRACK • Passport • Driver's license • National ID card • Residence permit and visa • Vehicle registration • Insurance and health cards • Professional licenses and certifications • Warranties, or anything else with a date on it REMINDERS THAT ARRIVE IN TIME • Reminders timed for each document: months ahead for a passport or permit, days ahead for insurance — plus one on the expiry day • See everything at a glance: green is fine, orange is soon, red is expired • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show what's due next • Tap a reminder to open that document straight away SCAN INSTEAD OF TYPING Point your camera at a document. Renewly reads it on your iPhone, recognizes what kind of document it is, and finds the expiration date for you. Check the details, confirm, and you are done. No typing dates from a tiny printed line. YOUR DOCUMENTS STAY ON YOUR IPHONE This is the part we care most about, so we will be plain about it: • No account. No sign-up. No password. • No server. Your documents are never uploaded anywhere. • No tracking, no ads, no analytics. • Scanning runs on your device with Apple's Vision framework. Only the expiration date you confirm is saved. No other text from your document is kept. • Lock the app with Face ID. Your document photos stay blurred until you unlock them. HOW IT WORKS 1. Scan a document, choose a photo, or type the date yourself. 2. Confirm the expiration date. 3. Get reminded before it runs out. PRICING Renewly is free for up to 3 documents. If you need more, one purchase unlocks Renewly Unlimited: unlimited documents, family members (keep everyone's documents together, with reminders that say whose document it is), Add to Calendar, Siri and Shortcuts ("What expires next?"), and reminders on the days you choose. It is a one-time payment. There is no subscription and there never will be. Restore it on your other devices at any time, and share it with your family through Family Sharing. DESIGNED FOR EVERYONE Renewly works with VoiceOver, Voice Control and larger text sizes, with clear colors and labels in light and dark mode. It speaks English, French, Spanish, Arabic, German, Italian and Portuguese, with full right-to-left support for Arabic. Add your passport today. Your future self will thank you.
