Being named an executor is a 12–18 month job nobody trained you for. Settle tells you what to do next — one clear step at a time — from the day you start to the day the estate closes. Settle is an organizational tool, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice. A PLAN BUILT FOR YOUR STATE Answer a few questions and Settle builds a step-by-step plan for your state and situation, with deadline reminders so nothing slips. Every step explains why it matters and how to do it, in plain language. WE SHOW OUR WORK Every deadline names the statute it came from and the date we last checked it — tap "Where this comes from" and read the source yourself. Steps are marked Required, May be required, or Recommended, so a court requirement never looks like a habit we made up. Where a licensed attorney hasn't reviewed your state's steps yet, the plan says so instead of pretending otherwise. PHOTOGRAPH IT, NEVER LOSE IT Snap any statement, bill or notice. Settle saves it instantly and opens a filing card you can tag in two taps — the paperwork pile becomes a searchable vault. EVERY ASSET AND DEBT IN ONE PLACE A clear inventory of accounts, property and debts, with the net estate value at a glance — what the court and the family both want to know. A LEDGER THAT HOLDS UP Log what you paid and what the estate paid, attach the receipt while you still have it, and see what's owed back to you. Settle flags what would weaken the accounting — spending with no receipt, money you haven't reimbursed yourself — while there's still time to fix it. REPORTS THE COURT AND THE CPA ACTUALLY WANT Inventory report and expense ledger as PDFs in one tap. Plus the receipt packet: your ledger numbered line by line, each receipt on its own page carrying the same number — so nobody goes hunting for them one at a time. EXECUTOR FEE ESTIMATOR Estimate the fee from your state's statutory schedule where it sets one. Where it sets no percentage, Settle won't invent a rate — it shows what the court actually weighs instead. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Everything stays on your device, protected by your device's encryption. No ads, no trackers, and we never sell your data. Your raw data export is free, forever. HONEST PRICING The Estate Pass is $149.99/year (or $19.99/month), starting with a 7-day free trial — no four-figure concierge, no hourly billing, no desktop software. If you ever stop subscribing, everything you've built stays readable in the app and your export stays free. WHAT'S FREE, WHAT'S PAID Free forever: your complete plan for your state, every deadline reminder, the inventory, the notice tracker, your first 10 documents, your first 10 ledger entries, and full raw data export. The Estate Pass unlocks unlimited documents and ledger entries, and every PDF report. SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS Estate Pass Annual — $149.99 per year (about $12.50 per month), starting with a 7-day free trial. Estate Pass Monthly — $19.99 per month. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Terms of Use (EULA): https://tuhin-014.github.io/app-policies/settle/terms-of-service.html Privacy Policy: https://tuhin-014.github.io/app-policies/settle/privacy-policy.html IMPORTANT Settle provides general organizational information, not legal advice, and is not a substitute for a probate attorney. Its state checklists come from published statutes and court sources and show when they were last checked; no state's steps have been reviewed by a licensed attorney yet, and the plan says so. Requirements vary by state, county and situation — always confirm important dates and forms with the probate court or a licensed attorney.
Summarly

A forty minute meeting leaves you with a forty minute recording. Summarly leaves you with six lines. Record, and the app turns the speech into text on the iPhone itself. Then, if you want it, it pulls out what the recording was actually about: the points, the decisions that were settled, the questions nobody answered, and the things people said they would do. NOTHING LEAVES THE PHONE There is no account to create and no server of ours to sign in to. Recordings, their text and their summaries stay on the device. Speech recognition runs offline, so it works in a basement meeting room with no signal. If you want a backup you can turn on iCloud sync, and that is your own iCloud, not ours. RECORDING AND TRANSCRIPTION ARE FREE Apple's own Voice Memos records and transcribes for nothing, so charging for that would be dishonest. Recording, transcription, search and the archive are unlimited on the free plan, and always will be. Pro is for the summaries. WHAT IT DOES • One tap to record, and it keeps going when you leave the app or lock the screen • A live indicator on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while it runs • Mark a moment while recording, name it later, jump back to it in one tap • On-device transcription in English and Turkish • Long recordings handled in pieces, so an hour-long lecture transcribes fully • Search every word you have ever recorded • Folders, for keeping a project's recordings together • Fix anything the recogniser misheard • Export as plain text, Markdown, SRT subtitles, or the audio file itself • Delete the audio and keep the text, when storage matters more than the voice • A Home Screen widget that starts recording without opening the app • Works completely offline ABOUT THE SUMMARIES On iPhone 15 Pro and later, Summarly uses Apple's on-device intelligence to read the transcript and pull out what mattered. Nothing is sent anywhere for this. On earlier iPhones the summary feature is unavailable, but recording, transcription, search and export all work exactly the same. The summary is built only from what was said. It does not add advice, opinions or conclusions of its own, and where the recording is unclear it leaves the passage out rather than guessing. Check anything you plan to act on, the same as you would with your own notes. FREE AND PRO Five summaries a month are free. Pro removes the limit and unlocks Markdown and subtitle export. Pro has one price, not a list: a yearly plan, or a single payment if you would rather never think about it again. Verdict
Settle and Summarly are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Settle sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Summarly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
