Your flag warden for Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Γ…land, the Faroe Islands and Greenland. Flagday tells you when to fly the flag and which rules apply. Official and established flag days are built into the app, so its core features work without an internet connection. β€’ See today's flag status and the next flag day β€’ Check authoritative hoisting and lowering guidance β€’ Save your flagpole's position; Apple resolves the correct local time zone with one lookup, then solar times are calculated on device β€’ Read each country or territory's rules for half-mast, pennants and funerals β€’ Receive local reminders the evening before and in the morning β€’ Add personal birthdays and anniversaries β€’ Export to a dedicated calendar without duplicates β€’ Follow the next flag day in widgets and on the Lock Screen β€’ See today's status and upcoming flag days in the Apple Watch app and with watch-face complications β€’ Use Flagday on Mac as well as iPhone and Apple Watch β€’ Switch between all 12 countries and territories No ads. No third-party tracking. Optional location access is used only when you choose to save your flagpole's position for exact solar times. The coordinate is then reverse-geocoded once by Apple's Core Location and Maps service to resolve the correct time zone. The coordinate and time zone are stored locally for Flagday and its widget, and solar times are calculated on the device. Axcode does not receive the location, and the app does not track it in the background. Personal flag days can sync through your private iCloud database and do not leave Apple's systems. Flagday links to the source for each country and territory's guidance. Local and regional exceptions may apply; always follow current instructions from the responsible authority.

About

Flag Calendar

People fly the flag on different days, and in different ways. Norway hoists at eight in summer and nine in winter, later still north of the Arctic Circle. Lithuania lowers the flag a third of the way down from the top, not to half mast. Flag Calendar carries the rule as each country wrote it: the days, the hoisting and lowering times for your date and place, and whether the flag flies at full mast, at half mast or a third of the way down. The app carries more than 60 countries and territories and more than 1000 flag days. Almost every one is taken from the government's own regulation and linked back to it. Where a state publishes no flag-day instrument at all, the app says so plainly instead of leaving a gap. FREE - Your country's flag days for the year ahead - Hoisting and lowering times worked out for your date and place - Full mast, half mast and a third of the way down, exactly as the rule says PREMIUM (one-time unlock) - The background to every day and the rule that governs it - Reminders the evening before and on the morning itself - A link to the regulation behind each day - Home screen widgets and an Apple Watch app - Discover: every flag, sorted by color and proportion, with zoom Movable days are computed, not guessed. Easter, midsummer, Advent and the weekday rules are worked out from the same definitions the authorities use, so the dates hold for any year. Everything runs on your device. No account, no tracking, no ads. Fly it right.
