People fly the flag on different days, and in different ways. Norway hoists at eight in summer and nine in winter, later still north of the Arctic Circle. Lithuania lowers the flag a third of the way, not half. Flag Calendar carries the rule as each country wrote it: the days, the hoisting and lowering times for your date and place, and whether the flag flies at full mast, half or one third.
