Turn your iPhone into a practical wall-checking toolkit before mounting a shelf, picture, or bracket. Stud Finder combines magnetic scanning, acoustic knock analysis, and a responsive bubble level in one clear interface. Metal Scan follows changes in the magnetic field around your phone. It can help locate repeatable signals that may come from screws, nails, metal studs, pipes, or other metal objects. Keep the phone in a consistent orientation, move slowly across the surface, and repeat the sweep from the opposite direction to confirm the result. Wood Scan uses the microphone to analyze the resonance, decay time, and frequency distribution of a short knock. First capture a reference knock on an area you know is hollow, then compare nearby points against it. Processing takes place directly on your device; the app does not save conventional audio recordings or upload knock audio to a server. A horizontal, vertical, and surface level is included, with a custom zero for comparing relative angles. Save findings to local history, add project notes, and review measurements later. No account is required, and there are no ads, subscriptions, or third-party tracking tools. Stud Finder is an estimation aid, not an imaging device. It cannot see through walls and cannot reliably identify live electrical wiring. Always verify with a suitable professional detector, switch off the relevant circuit wherever cables may be present, and never drill or cut based on a single reading. https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

A complete electrical engineering calculator suite in your pocket โ Ohm's Law, reactance, trace width, and more. No ads, no subscription, no nonsense. Pocket Workbench is a complete electrical engineering calculator suite built for engineers, technicians, students, and hobbyists โ the tools you actually reach for at the bench, in the field, or mid-design. No ads. No subscription. No account required. Just the calculators you need, done right. CORE CALCULATORS Ohm's Law solver โ instantly solve for voltage, current, resistance, or power from any two known values Voltage divider calculator Reactance & resonance โ capacitive reactance, inductive reactance, and LC resonant frequency RC/RL time constants โ including capacitor charging voltage over time PCB trace width calculator โ IPC-2221 standard, internal/external layers, any copper weight Series/parallel resistor & capacitor combinations Delta (ฮ) โ Wye (Y) network converter LED series resistor calculator Capacitor stored charge & energy SMD resistor code decoder (3/4-digit and R-notation) dB power ratio, voltage ratio, and dBm โ watts converters Skin depth calculator with material presets Battery life estimator COMPONENT SCANNER (bonus feature) Point your camera at a resistor, inductor, or capacitor and Sohm will attempt to read its value automatically โ color bands for resistors and inductors, printed codes for capacitors. This feature is actively improving; the calculators above are the reliable core of the app. Built for real work: clean interface, fast input, accurate formulas โ nothing you have to dig through menus to find. Whether you're laying out a PCB, sizing a trace, decoding a resistor, or just double-checking Ohm's Law at 2am, Pocket Workbench has it covered.
