Dance Log
Read full descriptionHide full description
DanceLog is a simple dance diary for dancers who want to see their practice build up day by day. Light up the days you dance, then add the details that matter: dance style, class or practice, difficulty, and optional duration. The monthly stats view helps you understand how often you danced, how many sets you completed, and which styles filled your month. DanceLog is designed for street dance and K-pop practice routines, but it stays flexible for any dancer who wants a clear local log without accounts, feeds, or noise. Your records stay on your device. DanceLog does not use accounts, cloud sync, analytics, ads, or tracking.

Made for dancers, by dancers. Dance Diary is your personal space to log every class, remember every correction, and watch your progress grow — while taking care of the dancer behind the technique. LOGGING A CLASS TAKES SECONDS Add your weekly schedule once, and each class appears on the right day ready to log in a single tap. Style, duration, teacher, corrections, how hard it felt, and how your body is doing. Two classes in one day? Log them both. NEVER LOSE A CORRECTION Keep every note your teacher gives you, organized by body part and by teacher, and move each one from Focus to Improving to Mastered. A correction you haven't worked on in a while quietly comes back so it isn't forgotten. CAPTURE CORRECTIONS BEFORE YOU FORGET Straight after class, type everything your teacher said — one per line — and save them all at once. Tag them later, when you have a moment. PRACTISE WITH INTENT Start a timer against the correction or skill you are actually working on, and the minutes land against that thing. Working on something counts, even before it clicks. THE THINGS YOU ARE CHASING Corrections come from your teachers. Skills are the ones you set yourself — a double pirouette, splits on the left — with a dated log that proves they moved. WRITE TO THE DANCER YOU'LL BE Seal a letter to yourself, opened in one month or one year. Dancers change faster than they notice. A SUMMARY YOU CAN SHARE Turn a season into a plain summary — classes, hours, teachers, performances, corrections mastered — for a teacher, an audition, or an application. WRITE DOWN THE CHOREOGRAPHY Combinations noted the way you count them — in eights — so what you learned on Tuesday is still there on Thursday. Plus a glossary of over fifty dance terms, with pronunciations, for the days a teacher uses a word you don't know. SET GOALS THAT MEAN SOMETHING Weekly and monthly goals with progress tracking. Unfinished goals can be carried into the new week with one tap, and past goals stay as a record of how far you've come. OWN THE STAGE Competitions, recitals, and auditions with countdowns, a packing list for each one, and a two-minute Backstage moment for the wings — breathing, and then your own training hours read back to you, because "you are ready" means more when it's arithmetic. CARE FOR YOUR MIND, TOO A daily mood check-in, guided box and 4-7-8 breathing, 5-4-3-2-1 grounding, a progressive body scan, reflection prompts you can read back any time, and 36 affirmations written for dancers. If you keep flagging discomfort, the app offers a recovery mode that hides streaks and gets gentler until you're ready. SEE YOUR OWN PATTERNS Mood over the past month, how your body has felt, hours by style and teacher, a Year in Review worth sharing, and quiet observations drawn from your own entries — all worked out on your phone. YOURS, AND ONLY YOURS No accounts. No ads. Everything you write stays on your device — the app shares only anonymous usage statistics, which you can switch off. Optional Face ID lock, optional daily reminders, and one-tap backup export and import so your history follows you to a new phone. Three hand-crafted themes — Ballet Rose, Studio Warm, and Night Bloom — make your diary feel like home. Your journey in dance is yours alone — and it is beautiful.
