Gamepad

Gamepad is a focused controller testing, diagnostics, and Bluetooth control utility for iPhone and iPad. Connect a compatible Bluetooth, wired, or MFi controller recognized by iOS or iPadOS to inspect its input in real time and quickly diagnose buttons, sticks, triggers, and supported extended capabilities. You can also turn your iPhone or iPad into a Bluetooth gamepad, keyboard, and trackpad to control compatible devices. Key Features β€’ Controller Visualization See buttons, the directional pad, analog sticks, and triggers respond in real time. Both portrait and landscape layouts are supported, including basic controllers without analog sticks. β€’ Complete Controller Test Inspect stick trails, directional input, trigger pressure, button states, and controller capabilities in one place. β€’ Button Test Record button, direction, and axis input as it happens to verify every action. β€’ Stick Polling Rate Analyze stick input events, including average rate, event intervals, stability, and unusual samples. β€’ Bluetooth Gamepad Use your iPhone or iPad as a virtual Bluetooth gamepad with touch buttons, a directional pad, dual analog sticks, and triggers, or forward input from a connected physical controller. Choose between generic HID and Xbox compatibility modes, with game rumble feedback when supported by the receiving device. β€’ Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse Use your iPhone or iPad as a Bluetooth keyboard and trackpad, with a full keyboard layout, Fn keys, key combinations, pointer movement, mouse buttons, dragging, and scrolling. Portrait mode displays the keyboard and trackpad together, while landscape mode lets you switch between them. Adjust pointer speed, scrolling speed, natural scrolling, and touch haptics. β€’ Haptic Feedback Try multiple vibration patterns and select a supported controller motor or the device haptics as the output. β€’ Audio Haptics Generate haptic feedback from a local audio file. Drag the waveform to choose a starting point, adjust intensity, and apply different levels of vocal filtering. β€’ Motion Sensors View live gyroscope and accelerometer data from a compatible controller or the current device. β€’ Extended Controller Capabilities Test touchpad input, adaptive triggers, motion sensors, and advanced haptics when the connected hardware supports them. Compatibility Available features depend on the controller model, connection method, Apple device, and capabilities exposed by the operating system. Some basic controllers do not include analog sticks, haptics, or motion sensors, and some iPad models do not provide device haptics. The app keeps the relevant layout visible and disables unsupported actions when appropriate. Bluetooth gamepad and keyboard/mouse features require a receiving device that supports the corresponding Bluetooth HID input. Compatibility varies by receiving device, operating system, and game. Xbox mode provides Bluetooth controller compatibility and does not support Xbox consoles. Bluetooth control requires the feature page to remain open in the foreground; leaving the page or moving the app to the background stops the service. Chinese text input is handled by the receiving device’s input method. Privacy Controller tests and audio analysis are performed locally on the device. No account is required, and selected audio or controller input is not uploaded to a server. When using Bluetooth control features, input is sent over Bluetooth to the current receiver.
