Yearn is a paycheck budget planner built on envelope budgeting, made for tips, gig work, hourly shifts, and contract pay. Every bill and goal is funded by its due date, from whatever paycheck schedule you're on. Most budgeting apps assume the same paycheck lands every two weeks. Yearn doesn't. Set a funding schedule that matches your payday, weekly, biweekly, twice a month, or monthly, and Yearn works out what each paycheck needs to cover. What's left is your Free to Spend: the money that is truly yours after bills and goals are handled. BUDGET BY PAYCHECK Create an envelope for each bill or goal, give it a due date and an amount, then attach it to a funding schedule. On each funding date, Yearn calculates how much to set aside so every bill is fully funded by the day it's due. Bills can repeat weekly, biweekly, twice a month, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. No spreadsheets, no mental math. ENVELOPE BUDGETING FOR VARIABLE INCOME The envelope method works for irregular income because Yearn never asks how much you make. It only asks what you owe and when. Every envelope shows its status at a glance: Ready, On track, Ahead, or Behind, so you know before payday whether next week's check will stretch. FREE TO SPEND, ALWAYS VISIBLE One number, always current: what you can spend today without touching money that already belongs to a bill. It updates each time a funding schedule runs on the payday you chose, and whenever a purchase is matched to an envelope. BILL TRACKER, GOAL TRACKER, SPENDING CHARTS Real-time progress on every bill and savings goal. Cash flow, spending by category, upcoming bills, and a six-month trend, all built from your own transactions. YOUR BANK, YOUR CHOICE Track manually, or connect your bank with a secure, read-only Plaid connection so balances and transactions stay in sync. Auto Spend matches purchases to the right envelope automatically. Import transactions from CSV, OFX, or QFX files, reconcile balances when they drift, and review your balance history. Yearn never moves money in your bank account. Amppfy answers the one question every household asks: what can we actually spend before payday? ONE CLEAR NUMBER Your bank balance isn't what's safe to spend, because rent hasn't come out yet. Amppfy takes the cash in your accounts, subtracts the bills due before your next paycheck, sets aside your planned savings and a safety cushion, and shows what's left: Safe-to-Spend™. The math is printed right under the number, every line one you entered. ONE WORD FOR THE WEEK Under the number, a short scale says how the days to payday look: comfortable, tight, or dips into cushion. Beside it, the date the number holds until and what that is a day. One glance, no guessing. TEN MINUTES A WEEK KEEPS IT HONEST The weekly check-in is four short steps: see where you stand, confirm the bills that are due (tap the circle to confirm, tap the bill to change it this time), settle anything flagged, and close the week. Forgot a bill or a paycheck? Add it right there. Three cards close the week, with your streak. BUILT FOR TWO Invite your partner with a link or a QR code. They sign in with their own login and land on the same number, the same bills, the same goals, updated the moment either of you changes something. Shared accounts show for both of you; private ones stay private, and that rule lives in the database, not just on the screen. RUNS ON THE BALANCES YOU ENTER Enter what's in your accounts, about thirty seconds each, and your number is ready. Updating a balance takes a tap, and the check-in reminds you when one is getting old. Your data is never sold. SEE THE MONTH, NOT JUST THE MOMENT Budget shows where the month's money goes from the plan you already made: bills, savings, subscriptions and everything else, with a page per bill group, month by month. Calendar lays out every bill and payday on the full month grid, with the lowest point before payday marked. Net worth and Accounts show what you own and what you owe on the same clear rows. A HEADS-UP, NEVER AN ALARM A note the day before a bill, when the dip before payday reaches your cushion, or when it's check-in day. Calm, on your terms, and easy to tune. WHAT'S INSIDE • Safe-to-Spend™, recalculated the moment anything changes, with every line of the math shown • Bills: before payday, this month, subscriptions, all; due dates, auto-pay, who owns what • Income: every paycheck on its schedule, so you always know when the next one lands • Goals: an emergency fund or a trip, funded first like a bill, with a page each for Add money and Adjust • Budget: the month in four parts, any month back, any bill group over time • Calendar: your month at a glance, with the running balance under it • Net worth and Accounts: checking, savings, cash and credit cards, each counted or not on your terms • Household: members, what each person sees, and the settings that shape your number • Widget: your number and how the week looks, on your Home Screen ONE ACCOUNT, EVERYWHERE Sign in with Apple, Google, or one email address. Everything stays in step between your iPhone and the web at app.amppfy.com, so the number you check in the checkout line is the number your partner sees at the kitchen table. Free. No credit card required. Finding your number takes about five minutes: enter your balances, your next payday and the bills due before it, and the receipt fills in as you go. Then invite your partner and pick a day for your first check-in.
