IdleWatch is a collecting game built entirely around watches — open cases, chase rare pieces, and build a collection you're proud to show off. Every watch is its own parody of a real horology name, sorted into rarity tiers from Common up through the ultra-rare Icon. Each individual piece you pull has its own condition, from Mint down to well-worn, so no two copies of the same watch are quite alike. Collect, don't just open boxes: • A Season Pass with rotating rewards • A Daily Box, Daily Deal, and Daily Rewards to check in on • A Display Case that boosts passive income, and a separate Showcase to feature your favorites when other collectors look you up • Achievements and weekly/daily challenges Trade with real collectors: List watches for sale, browse what others are selling, and build account trust over time to unlock rarer listings. A handful of mini-games — Prize Wheel, Memory Match, Guess the Watch, and watch trivia — give you extra ways to earn along the way. Sign in with Game Center to appear on leaderboards for total earnings, collection value, watches discovered, login streaks, and market activity, and to mark your account as a Verified Trader.

You spent three years at Titan building someone else's ideas. Then you pitched one of your own, and your boss killed it in a conference room. So you quit, maxed out three credit cards, and started a company in your mother's garage. Eleven months later, Titan walked onto a stadium stage with your slides. CEO is an interactive story where every decision costs money and every dollar has to come from somewhere. Choose where your company lives, who you hire, what you build and what you charge for it. Read resumes, negotiate salaries, and hand work to your team in a living office that grows as you do. Pick your investors carefully, because the fine print on a term sheet can take the company away from you two chapters later. The story follows the real arc of a startup. Launch a beta with a hundred thousand dollars and an old laptop. Put a price on the door and watch your first payday land, or not. Take the seed money and read what you gave up for it. Get sued by Titan, hire a lawyer you can afford, and take the stand in a federal courtroom where every word is on the record. Testify before the Senate. Raise a Series A and find out what it means to own less than half of something you built. Survive the free copycat, the poaching calls, the merger offer and the live television interview opposite the man who stole your idea. Then come the scandal, the boardroom fight for your job, a factory on the other side of the world, and the last decision: go public, sell to Titan, or stay private. Your choices carry forward. The data you trained on in the garage decides whether the publishers come for you. The investor you took decides who tries to fire you. The engineer you hired decides who Titan tries to hire away. Nothing is a fail screen, but everything is remembered. Between the decisions, the company keeps running. Users sign up, revenue comes in, rent and payroll go out, and when the balance can't cover the month, the team gets paid before the story moves on. Timers mark the work that takes time, from the first training run to the migration that moves the whole company onto new machines. A cast with its own agendas: a former CFO who tells you when you're making a mistake, a reporter who calls when things go wrong, a judge who has read the internet's opinion of your model, and a rival who says your name on stage in front of forty thousand people. Nine chapters, from the garage to the stock exchange. CEO Club is an optional subscription that removes waits and ads, adds ten percent to your revenue and new users, and pays you daily cash. It is not required to finish the story. Terms of Use: https://moreclues.com/terms

Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: IdleWatch at 100% against CEO Simulator's 4%. IdleWatch also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and device support (3 vs 1). CEO Simulator's advantage is ratings volume (157 vs 4) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IdleWatch sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and CEO Simulator sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
IdleWatch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CEO Simulator has 157 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of IdleWatch's written reviews are positive against 4% of CEO Simulator's.
IdleWatch ships an update fortnightly, CEO Simulator every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
