cool-radar turns the radios already inside your iPhone into a radar for the devices around you โ€” with no extra hardware, and without inventing a single number. WHAT YOU SEE Nearby Bluetooth LE devices appear as contacts with an estimated distance, a bearing once there is enough geometry to support one, and a ranked guess at what each device actually is. The Wi-Fi card shows the link your phone is really on: type, interface, local address and subnet, the default gateway and the gateway's manufacturer. Where both ends have UWB hardware, distance stops being an estimate and becomes a measurement. HONEST BY DESIGN Every value carries a badge. "Measured" is a hardware reading. "Inferred" is a value the math derived. Distances read "โ‰ˆ 4.5 m" because radio ranging is an estimate, not a ruler. When there is not enough geometry for a direction, the app draws a ring of possible positions and a question mark instead of a convincing-looking arrow. And when iOS simply does not expose something โ€” neighbouring Wi-Fi networks, raw spectrum, Wi-Fi CSI โ€” the app says so instead of filling the gap with fiction. THE MATH INSIDE โ€ข Log-distance path-loss inversion, with a per-device exponent that recalibrates itself from the geometry you walk โ€ข Kalman filtering with motion-gated noise, so a device that is standing still stops drifting on screen โ€ข Robust multilateration with Huber weights, so a single reflection off a wall cannot drag a position across the room โ€ข A naive-Bayes hypothesis engine that ranks device types from the broadcast name, company ID, advertised GATT services, transmit power, address policy and advertising cadence โ€” and shows you the evidence behind every guess โ€ข Behaviour analytics over the signal time series: advertising interval, jitter, trend and periodicity โ€ข Radio tomography that maps excess path loss into an attenuation picture of the space FEATURES โ€ข Top-down radar with range rings, pinch to zoom, double tap to reset โ€ข Device list with search and type filters โ€ข Device card with signal history, ranked hypotheses and the evidence for each โ€ข Unwanted-tracker heuristics based on public advertising patterns โ€ข CSV export of a session โ€ข Full Russian and English, switchable inside the app PRIVACY All sensing and all math run on your iPhone. No account, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifier. One optional setting โ€” off until you turn it on โ€” may send a 24-bit manufacturer prefix to a public vendor database to name your router. Nothing else ever leaves the device. Use cool-radar only on networks and devices you are entitled to inspect. It does not decrypt Find My identities, does not enumerate neighbouring Wi-Fi networks, and provides no covert tracking of people. REQUIREMENTS iOS 18 or later. Bluetooth works on every iPhone. UWB distance needs U1/U2 hardware on both devices. Room geometry needs a LiDAR model. Anything unavailable on your hardware is shown as unavailable rather than simulated.

There is one spot in your home where everything stops working. The far bedroom. The kitchen table. The corner of the sofa where every call drops. You have probably blamed your provider, then your router, then yourself, and moved the box to a different shelf hoping something would change. WiFi Heatmap ends the guessing. Walk through your home with your iPhone or iPad and watch your rooms appear on the screen. Then watch your WiFi paint itself across them: green where it is strong, and unmistakably red where it dies. Not a number. Not a bar. A place you can walk to and point at. WHAT YOU SEE - Your own home, drawn from your own walls, not a stock diagram - Green where it works, red where it does not, in every room you walk - The exact spot your signal gives up, marked on the floor - Where to put a booster, and how much of the dead space it would rescue - A report you can hand to your landlord or your provider without explaining a thing WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT Other apps hand you a score and leave you to work out what to do with it. A score cannot tell you that the problem is the wall behind your bed. This shows you your home, and where in it the signal runs out. Suddenly the argument at home is over. It is not the laptop. It is not the phone. It is that corner, and now everyone can see it. FREE AND PAID Scanning is free, always. Walk as many rooms as you like and keep the map of your home for nothing. Unlock to see your WiFi painted onto it: every room scored, every dead spot marked, where to move your router, and a report you can share. Pay once with Lifetime, or yearly if you would rather. YOUR HOME STAYS YOURS Every scan and every reading lives only on your iPhone or iPad. There is no account to make, no sign-up, and nothing about your home is ever uploaded. SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS Lifetime is a single payment. It never renews and never expires. Yearly renews automatically each year unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and vary by region. Payment is charged to your Apple Account on confirmation of purchase.
