Scan QR codes and barcodes, recognize text from product photos, and view available ingredients, allergens, and nutrition facts in one simple app. QR Scanner · Barcode Reader opens directly to the scanner and is designed for quick everyday use. Links are never opened automatically, and your scan history is stored locally on your device. QR AND BARCODE SCANNING Point your camera at a QR code or barcode to read its contents. Supported formats include: • QR Code • EAN-8 and EAN-13 • UPC-A and UPC-E • Code 39, Code 93, and Code 128 • ITF • PDF417 • Data Matrix • Aztec • Codabar Scan website links, product packaging, tickets, Wi-Fi details, contact information, text, email addresses, phone numbers, SMS content, locations, calendar events, and more. REVIEW LINKS BEFORE OPENING Scanned links are never opened automatically. You can review the destination first, then choose whether to open, copy, or share it. The app also checks links on-device for structural risk signals such as unusual formatting and look-alike characters. These checks are informational and do not guarantee that a website is safe. PRODUCT AND FOOD INFORMATION Scan a supported product barcode to search for available product information through the Open Facts databases. Depending on the available data, product results may include: • Product name and image • Brand and category • Weight or quantity • Ingredients • Allergens • Energy and calories • Fat and saturated fat • Carbohydrates and sugars • Fiber • Protein • Salt and sodium • Nutri-Score and NOVA group Information availability and accuracy depend on the relevant third-party database. Product lookup requires an internet connection, while ordinary QR and barcode scanning continues on the device. PRODUCT PHOTO AND TEXT RECOGNITION When a product does not have a readable barcode, take a photo of its packaging or select an existing image. The app first checks the image for a QR code or barcode. If no code is found, text recognition runs on your device and creates editable product search terms. Possible matching products are displayed for you to review. The app never selects a product automatically; you choose the correct match before viewing its available ingredients or nutrition information. If no matching product is found, you can edit the search terms, search the web, copy the recognized text, or share it. SCAN FROM YOUR PHOTOS Choose an existing image containing a QR code, barcode, product label, or ordinary text. This is useful for: • Screenshots • Saved tickets • Product packaging • Documents and labels • Posters • Digital menus • Images received in messaging apps CREATE QR CODES AND BARCODES Create codes for: • Websites • Text • Wi-Fi networks • Contacts • Phone numbers • Email addresses • SMS messages • Calendar events • Locations • Product and numeric values Created codes can be viewed, saved, shared, and stored in your local history. LOCAL HISTORY Keep scanned and created codes in an optional local history. Search previous results, revisit links, copy scanned content, and delete your history whenever you want. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • No advertisements • No subscriptions • No in-app purchases • No account required • No developer analytics or tracking • No automatic link opening • Local scan history • Light, dark, and system themes Camera images and selected photos are processed on your device for code and text recognition. Photos are not uploaded by the app. When you perform an online product lookup, only the barcode or editable product search terms are sent directly to the relevant information service. QR Scanner · Barcode Reader brings QR scanning, barcode reading, product information, photo text recognition, code creation, and local history together in one straightforward app.
Knoq

See where a QR code really goes before anything opens. Knoq follows every short link and redirect and shows you the real address, with no ads over the camera and no weekly plan. Scan the code on a menu, a parking meter or a flyer and the result card shows the destination first: each hop the link took, struck through as the next one lands, and the domain it finally reaches in large type. Nothing opens until you tap Open. IN-APP PURCHASE: Knoq is free to download, and the app is unlocked with Knoq Pro, a separate in-app purchase offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The yearly plan starts with a 3-day free trial, and Knoq reminds you the day before it ends. The price, the plan length, the free trial and the renewal terms are shown on the purchase screen before you confirm. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in your App Store account settings, and earlier purchases can be restored from the purchase screen. WHERE IT REALLY GOES • The full redirect chain of a short link, followed from your phone before the page opens • The address in plain words: a lookalike of a known brand is named, along with the real site • It tells you what it found, never that a link is safe, so you decide with the facts SCAN ANYTHING • Opens straight to the camera, with a torch and zoom • Reads codes from photos and screenshots • Batch mode for a stack of codes • Wi-Fi codes join in one tap; contact codes open the new-contact card MAKE YOUR OWN • Link, Wi-Fi, contact, text, email and message codes • Your colours, with a warning when a camera would struggle to read them • Share as a PNG, or show it full screen at full brightness YOUR HISTORY • Every scan kept with where it went: search, favourites and tags • Trash keeps deleted scans for 30 days • Syncs through your own iCloud, and exports to CSV No account, no sign-in and no ads. Your scans stay on your device and in your iCloud. LEGAL Privacy Policy: https://codrick.com/privacy/ Terms of Use: https://codrick.com/terms/ Made by Codrick · codrick.com
