Steporia is a step counter that turns your daily walk into a hatch. Every day brings an egg, your steps open rarer possibilities inside it, and three taps reveal a Gozu: one of 50 elemental creatures to collect on holographic cards. Free to download. HOW A DAY WORKS Each day brings one egg. It stirs as you walk: dormant, then glowing, then cracking. Miss a day and its egg still waits for you, up to six days back. When you are ready, three taps open it and a Gozu appears: an elemental creature of Fire, Earth, Wind, Water, or Lightning, pressed onto a holographic Gozu Card in your Dex. WALK TO OPEN MORE The step ladder is fixed and the same for every player. Uncommon opens at 2,501 steps, Rare at 5,001, Epic at 7,501, and at 10,000 steps the full rarity-element matrix is open. A quieter day still keeps your egg. It resolves as a Common Gozu, with an element just as likely as any other. MEET 50 GOZIES Fifty Gozies wait across five rarities and five elements, ten per element. A Gozu you have not met yet carries twice the selection weight of one you already own, so your Dex fills a little faster than chance alone. Duplicates group as quantities. YOUR DEX Filter by rarity or by element. Every card is holographic, with foil that deepens as rarity climbs, and a sigil, accent, and atmosphere that name each element without relying on color alone. TREND Look back over this week, last week, last month, or the year so far. See the steps you walked, your average day, the ground you covered, the energy you burned, and how it all compares with the period before. The best Gozies of that stretch are laid out as a hand of cards, so a longer stretch turns up rarer things rather than simply more of them. A GENTLE STREAK Set your own daily goal. Consecutive days that meet it improve the odds of the best rarity that day has already opened. Miss a day and the bonus resets. It never takes a Gozu away, and it never changes a hatch you have already seen. PRIVACY Steporia reads your step count, walking and running distance, and active energy from Apple Health, and writes nothing back to it. Your collection lives on your device. No account, no ads, and it works offline. Reduce Motion is supported. FREE, PRO OPTIONAL The daily egg, the hatch, the Dex, Trend, and your streak are all free. Steporia Pro adds three things: - Two Extra Eggs on each day Pro is active, beside your daily egg. - Collection Backup, which backs up your collection to your private iCloud. Restoring a backup never needs Pro. - The Today's Walk Home Screen widget, with your steps, streak, distance, energy, and the egg waiting for you. Choose an auto-renewing plan, which renews until you cancel, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Extra Eggs hatch under the same step ladder and odds as every other egg. If you bought Steporia while it was a paid app, Steporia Pro is yours for life at no charge. Walk. Hatch. Collect. A snail is coming for you. It hatched near you and it already knows where you are. It moves in a straight line, through buildings, through rivers, through anything in the way. It does not sleep and it never loses you. Walking is the only thing that holds it back. HOW IT WORKS The snail crawls toward your real location, day and night, whether the app is open or not. It starts at about two miles a day and gets faster every three days you survive. Every step you take pushes it back. Snail reads the step count your iPhone already records, so it does not matter where you walk or how fast. A walk to the mailbox counts. A shift on your feet counts. Most of each walk pushes the snail away, and the rest is banked for later. Driving away does not help. Only steps buy distance, and heading toward it is a very bad idea. If it reaches you, the game is over. Days survived is your score. A new snail hatches at 6am. WHAT YOU CAN SEE Far away, you only get a rough idea of where it is. The closer it gets, the more precisely you know. Inside a thousand feet, you see exactly where it is. SALT AND SHELL Salt freezes the snail for six hours. You start with one and earn another every week you survive. Shell pushes it back three miles. It costs five banked miles. IT TELLS YOU WHEN IT IS CLOSE A notification at one mile, at half a mile, and when it is on your street. A word in the morning and in the evening on how the day is going. PRIVACY No account, no sign up, no email address. No ads, no trackers, no purchases. Snail reads your step count from Apple Health and writes nothing back. Your location is used to play the game. Nothing is sold and nothing is shared. BATTERY Snail uses your location in the background, because the snail does not stop when you close the app. While it is far away, Snail checks your position rarely. It only checks often when the snail is close.
