Sandy Snakes
Read full descriptionHide full description
Drag your snakes, drain the sand, and clear the board! Trays packed with colored sand fill the grid, and hungry snakes are coiled between them. Drag a snake by any part of its body, thread it through the gaps, and bring its head to sand of its own color ā it swallows the grains on contact. Every route you pick decides whether the board empties or clogs. What's inside: Grid puzzle with real space pressure: Every cell matters. Snakes are solid to each other, so the room you leave yourself is the puzzle. Drag, thread, slurp: Grab any segment and pull. The whole snake follows your finger, head first, through gaps barely wide enough. Sand that falls: Empty a column and the sand above it pours down. What was out of reach a second ago is suddenly right under your head. Match your colors: Each snake only eats its own color, and only carries enough hunger for its share. Waste it and the board can't be cleared.Beat the clock: The timer is always running. Plan fast, drag faster. Explore new worlds: Clear stages, unlock new layouts, and face boards that get tighter with every level. Easy to learn, tough to master: One finger, one rule ā then find out how much puzzle fits in a single grid. Think you can find the path that empties the whole board?
Tail Out
Read full descriptionHide full description
Every rope on the board wants out. You decide which way it goes. Tail Out is a quiet logic puzzle about pulling things free. Drop an arrow on the end of a rope and the rope threads out head first, following the direction you gave it ā every cell behind it stepping into the one in front. Clear the board and the level is solved. It sounds simple because it is. Then the board fills up, and the order starts to matter. HOW TO PLAY ⢠Drag an arrow onto the end of a rope. ⢠The rope leaves head first, the way the arrow points. ⢠Ropes block ropes. Arrows waiting on the board block them too. ⢠Clear every rope with the arrows you were given. An end takes an arrow from three sides ā the only direction it refuses is back into its own body. So there is nearly always another way out. Finding the order is the whole puzzle. WHEN YOU GET STUCK ⢠Undo ā step back through your moves, as far as you like. ⢠Hint ā one rope and one arrow light up. You still play the move. ⢠Replace ā the arrows are dealt again, and the board can always be finished afterwards. ⢠Eraser ā take a rope and its arrow off together. Boosters never solve the level for you. They give you a board worth thinking about again. MADE TO BE THOUGHT ABOUT ⢠No timer. Take an hour on one board if you want to. ⢠Hand-made levels, each one checked by a solver ā you will never be handed a board that cannot be cleared. ⢠Paper and ink: a white board, grey lattice dots, black rope. Nothing blinking for attention. ⢠Plays offline, one hand, anywhere. A puzzle where the answer was always there and you just had not seen it yet ā that is the feeling this game is built around. No luck, no hidden information, no move you could not have worked out. Pull one rope. Then the next one.
