About

Haremoto

Features

Haremoto is built for motorcycle rides, start to finish. PLAN WITH THE WEATHER Plot a route and see conditions along every stage of it — rain probability, wind, temperature and road state, timed to when you'll actually be there, not just at departure. "Best time to leave" finds the driest window for the whole route, and saved trips alert you when the forecast changes. RIDE Start a planned ride, or just hit Ride Now with no destination. Haremoto tracks your ride with GPS, watches the weather ahead, and reroutes around material detours. A focused ride cockpit shows route state, progress, ETA and only the next weather leg — with haptic and spoken alerts so you can keep your eyes on the road. Ride Check verifies GPS, sensors, battery and storage before you roll. TELEMETRY Mount the phone in any orientation: Haremoto measures lean angles, cornering and braking G-forces and altitude while you ride, and keeps recording even offline — everything syncs when you're back in coverage. Review the full history in your Logbook, link rides to the bikes in your Garage, and share a live "watch my ride" link with the people who wait for you. ELECTRIC TOO The built-in EV route planner adds charging stops, arrival state of charge and weather-aware energy planning for electric riding. Everything works in English, Romanian and Spanish. All features are free. An account (Sign in with Apple or Google) is only needed to save rides, sync your Logbook and Garage, and get forecast-change alerts. Made by a rider, for riders. Rubber side down.

About

Aethopia

Features

Aethopia brings Hong Kong weather, global wind fields and tropical cyclone tracks together in one place, with optional alerts when a signal is issued. Today Live Observatory readings, a two-hour rain nowcast, the next hours and the Observatory nine-day forecast (available dates are shown without duplicating Today), sunrise, sunset and UV, and the Moon with its rise and set times. Once you allow location, temperature, humidity and wind come from the nearest Observatory station and your district is shown; more than 50 km from Hong Kong, a second page shows the weather where you are. Map Global wind-field particles plus ten layers including temperature, rain and pressure. Select a storm to see its forecast track, uncertainty spread and wind field. Press and hold anywhere to read the wind, pressure and temperature at that point. Storms Active tropical cyclones in the North-West Pacific, the Atlantic and the East Pacific: how far from Hong Kong, where they are heading, the closest approach, and the chance of a No. 8, 9 or 10 signal. Signal chances are Aethopia's own estimates and are research in nature; for official warnings rely on the Hong Kong Observatory. Aviation Hong Kong International Airport observations and forecasts: runway wind components, visibility, cloud base and flight category. Studies Hourly replays of past storms (Mangkhut, Hato, Vicente and more) alongside the station readings recorded at the time. Ten weather and aviation articles use step-by-step diagrams, with the full original text available. Alerts and widgets Alerts for tropical cyclone signals, storms within 500 km and new storms forming can each be turned off. An optional Hong Kong morning weather tip is sent at 06:00 Hong Kong time, including during quiet hours; turn it off in Settings. It is not sent when the Observatory forecast for today is unavailable. Today and wind widgets can show the Hong Kong district last confirmed by the app and nearby Observatory station readings. That location remains valid for six hours, without background GPS. Home and lock screen widgets also show the temperature, rain, sunset countdown and the storm line; while a signal is in force, the Dynamic Island and lock screen show the current signal and the latest chance. Sources Data sources include the Hong Kong Observatory, the Japan Meteorological Agency, the US National Hurricane Center and Open-Meteo; Sources and limits in the app explains each source and its limits. When an upstream source is unavailable the page says so instead of filling in numbers. No account is required. Aethopia does not continuously track your location. With permission, Hong Kong station selection uses coordinates rounded to two decimal places. More than 50 km from Hong Kong, rounded coordinates are kept in an app cookie and sent to the server with app-page requests to obtain a local forecast from Open-Meteo. The server does not log or store those coordinates; turning Location off clears the cookie. Enabling notifications stores a push token and alert preferences on the server; see the privacy policy for details.
