You drop a leaf on a grid of arrows and let go. It drifts the way the arrow beneath it points โ€” and here is the whole game in one line: as the leaf leaves a tile, that tile turns a quarter. So the path rewrites itself while you watch. Come back to a square a second time and it sends you somewhere new. Loops untie themselves. A route that looked hopeless closes like a door. You never touch the leaf. Before you release it you may turn three or four arrows โ€” no more โ€” and then you watch. The puzzle is not "draw the path". It is "build a current that will solve itself", and watching it run is the reward. Sixty-three puzzles across four worlds โ€ข Creek (2ร—1โ€“5ร—5) โ€” arrows and rocks, and the one rule everything else is built on. โ€ข Whirl (5ร—5โ€“6ร—6) โ€” marble arrows that never turn, and whirls that turn the other way. Two spins on one board. โ€ข Lily (6ร—6โ€“7ร—7) โ€” reaching the pond is no longer enough. Every lily has to be touched on the way. โ€ข Delta (7ร—7) โ€” everything at once, on the widest water, with the tightest budgets in the game. And then it does not stop The campaign teaches the vocabulary and ends. What follows is a creek that keeps going: a hundred and eighty more proven boards, whose difficulty rises and falls on a twelve-board wave instead of climbing for ever. You are never more than six boards from a breather, and never more than six from a fight. One board a day The same puzzle for everyone, changing at midnight. Finish it and you can say how it went โ€” the taps it cost, the days you have kept โ€” on a card that never shows the board, so it cannot spoil it for whoever reads it. Each world has its own water The creek starts cool and green, deepens as it turns, greens again among the lilies, pales where the delta widens, and runs into dusk downstream. The leaf, the rocks and the lilies never change colour: they are things in the water, not the water. Every level is proved, not guessed Each board was generated and then brute-forced: a solution exists, no cheaper solution exists, and there are never more than a handful. When the counter says three taps, all three are needed. That is why the budget is a hint rather than a resource. A quiet game No timers. No lives. No score. Fail and the water simply settles โ€” your taps stay exactly where you put them, and you try the next idea. The only thing recorded is how few taps you needed. The daily keeps a streak if you want one, and forgets it without a word if you do not. Free, with one short ad between every third level โ€ข No purchases, no accounts, no analytics, no energy timers. โ€ข A short video runs after every third level you clear, and you can choose to watch one for an extra tap when a board has you stuck โ€” never more than twice, and never needed: every level is solvable within its printed budget. โ€ข Your progress lives on your device and nowhere else; we run no servers and receive nothing about you. โ€ข The puzzles need no connection. Offline, every level and language works normally and the ads are simply skipped. โ€ข Full keyboard support, screen-reader labels, reduced-motion and dark themes. โ€ข Ten languages: Turkish, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese. Set the current. Drop the leaf. Watch.

About

Nekokaku

Every cat needs a room of its own. Draw it โ€” a rectangle exactly the size of its number, until the whole room is divided and nobody is left without a place to sleep. 220 hand-arranged levels, 730 daily puzzles, and 24 cats waiting for you to name them. Nekokaku is a cozy logic puzzle built on Shikaku, the Japanese pencil-and-paper classic. Ten seconds to learn: drag a rectangle, count the squares, match the cat's number. The hard part is settling a whole room of cats at once. 220 LEVELS, NO TWO ALIKE From three cats on a 4ร—4 grid to a full 9ร—9 room. Eleven chapters, each with its own room and its own rhythm, and every ninth level a breather. The first 40 levels, a new puzzle every single day, and Stroll โ€” an endless shuffle that counts for nothing โ€” are free forever. YOU NEVER HAVE TO GUESS Every level has exactly one solution. Being stuck means the next step is already on the board and you haven't found it yet. Ask for a hint and you get the reason, not the answer. THE CATS ARE THE PUZZLE, NOT THE WALLPAPER Each one changes how you solve: โ€ข Two cats who can't stand each other โ€” their rooms must never share a wall โ€ข A clingy cat who won't settle unless her water bowl is inside her room โ€ข A mother who wants to wake up next to her kittens โ€ข A cat who hides her number behind a "?" โ€” you work it out from what's left โ€ข Furniture already on the floor, taking up space the way furniture does ONE PUZZLE A DAY A hand-picked puzzle every morning: gentle on Monday, hard-earned by Sunday, a "?" mystery every Wednesday, something special at the weekend. Everyone in the world gets the same one. Keep your streak and share the result โ€” the card never spoils the answer. 24 CATS TO BRING HOME Clear levels and cats move in. Name them yourself, learn their coats โ€” white socks, odd eyes, one ear that never stays up โ€” and spend what you earn on furniture for their home. QUIET BY DESIGN No timer rushing you. No energy meter. No ads interrupting a thought. Nothing to sign up for. Plays offline, on a plane, in the dark. 220 handcrafted levels ยท 730 daily puzzles ยท 24 cats waiting for a room. Open it when the day gets loud.
