Your grandmother Wren left you her farm. She left the shop too, and the hole in the ground under the field, and not much of an explanation. Water both, she said. Duskroot is a cosy farming game with a mine underneath it. FARM BY DAY Clear the ground, till it, plant it, water it, and bring it in. What you grow is what you have to sell. RUN YOUR OWN SHOP Put a thing on a shelf and put a price on it. Villagers come in, look at what you are asking, and decide. Too dear and they wince. Too cheap and you have fed them for nothing. Nobody ever tells you what anything is worth. You work it out by selling. DELVE BY DUSK Take a pick and a sword down and see how far you get. A sword combo, a bow you hold to draw, slimes, skeletons and a couple of things that are worse. Fall down there, or stay past midnight, and half of what you are carrying stays behind. ONE TREE, TWO LIVES Farming, fighting, mining, fishing and haggling all feed one pool of stars, and one branching tree spends them. There is no class to pick at the start. What you spend it on is who you turn into. FREE, AND IT STAYS FREE There is no paywall anywhere in Duskroot. Two moments offer you a short advert in exchange for a favour: a hint at the shop, and a hand up when you fall in the mine. Both are optional, both are capped, and skipping them costs you nothing. If you would rather never see an advert, the Rootkeeper's Pact takes the adverts away and leaves the favours. There is also a pet to follow you around and a night bloom for the tree, if you want to say thanks. Both are just for looks. Grow it. Sell it. Go down and get more.

Reggie has one fish stall on a Jamaican beach and a big plan. Buy raw fish off the boat, clean it, fry it with bammy and festival, and sell it to the queue. Every coin goes back into the beach: a bigger counter, a second kitchen, a seated restaurant, then an indoor dining room with a host, servers and a full menu. TWO JAMAICAN ADVENTURES Reggie's Beach is free and complete. Duppy Story is a separate adventure available through a one-time purchase, playable year-round. CHECK IN TO DUPPY STORY Run a night-time food business with a haunted hotel to restore. Stock your kitchen, hire help, renovate guest rooms and welcome overnight guests. Restore the courtyard restaurant as you grow. New adventures begin with J$200 in game cash: choose how to spend it, including whether to hire Tabby or buy more food. EVERYTHING IS ON THE BEACH No buried menus. Every upgrade is a plot on the sand with a price on it. Walk onto it, and it is yours. RUN A REAL RESTAURANT Parties seat themselves at tables that fit them. Serve starters, mains, drinks and dessert, clear the dishes, keep the pantry stocked and watch the reviews come in. Better reviews mean bigger tips. BUILD THE SUPPLY CHAIN Hire cleaners, cooks, servers and runners. Buy the fisherman's business, crew his boat and upgrade it from a skiff to a commercial trawler. Lay conveyor belts from the dock to a cleaning station and grow that station into a processing plant. FIND THE BOTTLENECK A bigger boat lands more fish than one prep table can clean. Every building tells you what is holding it up and points at the fix. THROW THE BEACH FESTIVAL Six chapters take the stall from its first catch to a business that runs without Reggie: your own boat, a four-star restaurant, a kitchen that runs hands-free. Then the whole town comes for Reggie's Beach Festival. Score up to three stars and play it again for more. KEEP EXPANDING The beach keeps going. Build more counters, more kitchens and more landings up the shore, each with room to grow. MADE FOR SHORT SESSIONS Drag to walk, stop on a pad to work. Plays fully offline. No ads. No account.
