About

Linmoh

Features

Linmoh is a browser for people learning a language. Open the sites you already read, or bring in an EPUB, PDF or TXT, and whenever a word doesn't make sense, just tap it. No word lists, no drills. You just read what you already like and pick things up along the way — what you enjoy reading is the best motivation there is. TAP ANY WORD A card slides up with what the word means in that exact sentence, a short explanation, a few examples and its pronunciation. Slang, abbreviations and memes are explained too. Words inside the card are tappable as well, so you can keep digging. TRANSLATE A WHOLE PASSAGE Long-press to select some text and choose "Explain with Linmoh". On social feeds, every post gets a Translate button. A QUIET PLACE TO READ Tap the book to turn any page into a clean, calm reading view. Posts come one per screen — swipe to move on. Long articles scroll like a book. Long-press empty space to go back. YOUR WORD BOOK Tap the bookmark on any card to keep it. Every saved word remembers the sentence you found it in. BOOKS TOO Import an EPUB, PDF or TXT. Tap words and translate just like on a web page, and Linmoh remembers where you left off. NOT JUST ENGLISH Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish… read in any language. Explanations come in the language you choose, from 10 available. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Explanations are generated by Apple Intelligence on your device. No account, no ads, no tracking — your word book syncs between your devices through your own iCloud, and no server ever sees what you read. • Available in English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語, 한국어, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano and Português Full explanations need an iPhone or iPad with Apple Intelligence (iOS 26 or later). On other devices, Linmoh uses system translation and the built-in dictionary.
