All your instructions in one place. And in your language. This app is a library for instructions as PDFs. Built for sewing, knitting and crochet, but it takes any instruction: the assembly guide for the shelf, the recipe, the user manual. You create folders, give every instruction an image and find it again on every one of your devices. If one is in a language you do not read, the app translates it. With the right craft terms and without distorting the pattern sheet. YOUR LIBRARY • Folders, nested as deep as you like. By craft, by person, by project. • Every instruction gets a preview image: from the camera, from your photos or a page from the PDF. Folders get an image too. • Four traits such as women, child, sweater or knitting. Filter by them with one tap. • Notes on every instruction: yarn, size, what you changed. Search by name and notes. • Cards with large images or a compact list, as you prefer. • PDFs come from Files, Mail, iCloud or from a finished translation. THE SAME ON ALL YOUR DEVICES The library lives in your iCloud, under your Apple ID, not on someone else's server. What you file on the iPad sits in the same place on the iPhone. New device, sign in with your Apple ID, and the library is there. TRANSLATE WITHOUT DISTORTING THE SHEET Ordinary PDF translators rebuild the page and redraw it in the process. In sewing that is fatal: a pattern sheet scaled by two percent no longer fits. This app works differently: • No AI redraws your artwork. Pattern pieces, alignment marks, knitting charts and crochet charts come from the original untouched. • The translated text sits where the old text sat, in the same box. • Page size and scale stay. You print and tape the sheet exactly as before. THE RIGHT CRAFT TERMS A plain translator turns the German rechts into right. In a knitting pattern it means knit. It turns Maschenprobe into stitch sample instead of gauge. This app translates with a craft dictionary for sewing, knitting and crochet. You get the terms and abbreviations your patterns actually use. Centimetres become inches, in size charts as well. For crochet you choose between US and UK terms. HOW TO TRANSLATE 1. Pick your PDF from the library, from Files, Mail or iCloud. 2. Pick the language you want to read. The app detects the source language itself. 3. Start the translation. It runs on the server, so you can close the app. 4. File the finished instruction in your library with one tap. 17 LANGUAGES English, German, Spanish, French, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Italian, Croatian, Polish, Russian, Portuguese, Czech, Finnish, Hungarian, Turkish. You translate between all of them and switch the app itself too. YOUR DOCUMENTS STAY YOURS Your library lives in your iCloud, not with us. A server does the translating; the source file and the result are deleted there after delivery. Patterns are protected by copyright, translated ones as well. That is why there is no way to publish one. WHAT IT CANNOT DO • Keep the original typeface. The translated text is set in its own, easy to read font. Measurements and layout stay. • Translate instructions over 50 MB or over 40 pages. TRY IT Five translations are free. Take the pattern that is annoying you right now, print the sheet and measure it. No trial that quietly turns into a subscription, and no charge without your consent. Project sewing patterns onto your cutting table at true physical size. No printing. No taping forty pages together. No trimming margins at midnight. Mount a projector above your table, connect your iPad, calibrate once — then cut straight from the projected line. ACCURATE, AND YOU CAN CHECK IT YOURSELF Calibration starts from a rectangle you already own and can measure: a cutting mat, a quilting ruler, a square you taped out. Tell the app its real size, drag four corners onto it, and you are done. That one step fixes scale and keystone distortion together. Then test it. Project a 100 mm square, lay a ruler on it, and read the measurement. With correct calibration it lands within half a millimetre. You do not have to take our word for it — that is the point. SET UP BEFORE YOU OWN A PROJECTOR The whole app runs with nothing attached. Pick the resolution your projector will use and the iPad shows a scaled preview of the projection surface, with the calibration handles sitting right on it. Open a pattern, position your pieces, get everything ready before any hardware is involved. When you do connect a projector, your existing calibration is rescaled onto the new surface instead of being thrown away. WORKS WITH THE PATTERNS YOU ALREADY OWN • Open PDF patterns from Files, iCloud Drive, or anywhere else on your iPad • Show only your size and hide the others, on patterns with size layers • The app tells you when a pattern's layers cannot be switched, instead of silently doing nothing • Lay out tiled pattern pieces: reading order, blank pages, overlap snapping, align and distribute • Mirror pieces along a fold line • Adjust line weight and invert the display so the pattern reads against busy fabric • [CONFIRM] Import SVG patterns as well as PDF • [CONFIRM] Export a print-ready file for home or copy-shop printing • [CONFIRM] Mark up the projection with your own annotations • [CONFIRM] Navigate large patterns with an overview map BUILT FOR THE WAY YOU ACTUALLY WORK The control panel adapts to the space it has, not to the device name. An iPad in Slide Over gets the compact layout. An iPhone in landscape gets the full one. Works on iPhone and iPad, iOS 17 and later. No account. No cloud. No proprietary projector to buy. Your patterns stay on your device. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://omurolgunay.com/cutline-pp.html
