Geometry War RTS
Read full descriptionHide full description
A whole realtime strategy game drawn in pencil and ink. Mine gold, train an army, and knock down the enemy base — the classic RTS loop, rebuilt for one hand and a phone screen. No menus full of currencies, no timers asking you to come back tomorrow. Just a map, a river, and someone on the other side trying to do to you what you are trying to do to them. BUILD Workers mine gold and put up your buildings. Barracks makes infantry and rocket soldiers, the factory makes tanks and lasers, the hangar makes aircraft. Houses raise your population, towers hold ground, and a second base near a rich mine pays for itself. FIGHT Tanks shell buildings and lob shells that splash. Rocket soldiers scatter fire over a crowd. Lasers charge for two seconds and then cut through anything at range. Aircraft ignore walls and water entirely. Send everything at once, or press and hold to pick one type. THE OPPONENT The computer player was trained, not scripted — thousands of games against itself, and against a copy of how the developer actually plays. It expands, researches, raids your miners, retreats when it is losing a fight, and comes back with more. Four difficulties from Easy to Brutal; Brutal is the same brain that never stops thinking. MODES • Skirmish — one map, one enemy, no mercy • Survival — hold off endless waves, and get your name on the world board • Multiplayer — share a five-letter code and play a friend anywhere Portrait. One hand. No ads, no purchases, no account needed.
