About

Krishna Collection

Krishna Collection is a comprehensive repository of transcendental literature, contrived for the convenient perusal and continued study of the books, lectures, conversations and epistolary correspondence of Srila Prabhupada upon iPhone and iPad. Within this collection are preserved Bhagavad-gita As It Is, Srimad-Bhagavatam, Sri Caitanya-caritamrta, Krishna Book, together with numerous other literary works treating of Krishna, devotional service and the transcendental conclusions of Krishna consciousness. The application has been deliberately divested of needless mundane embellishment and superfluous apparatus. Its arrangement has been made subordinate to the principal business of attentive reading, so that the reader may approach the literature without the incessant interruptions and distractions commonly attendant upon modern applications. Among its facilities are: β€’ Horizontal progression by means of the natural swiping of successive pages β€’ Vertical perusal of more extensive passages, commentaries and purports β€’ The complete library preserved for use without dependence upon an Internet connexion β€’ Search throughout the assembled literary collection β€’ Favourites for subsequent recollection and reference β€’ Automatic remembrance of the precise place at which one’s previous reading was suspended β€’ Careful typographical disposition of Sanskrit, transliteration, synonyms, translations and purports according to their respective character β€’ Proper accommodation of the reading arrangement to both iPhone and iPad β€’ No account, registration, subscription or sign-in requisite for admission to the library The literary contents are retained directly upon the device. The reader is therefore not obliged to depend upon the uncertain availability of an external connexion before approaching the books; the collection remains ever at hand for reading, reference, recollection and deliberate study. Particular attention has been bestowed upon the disposition of the texts themselves. Sanskrit and transliterated passages are presented distinctly; synonyms, translations and purports retain their appropriate arrangement; lengthy expositions may be traversed without disturbing the natural succession of the reading. The method of use is purposely uncomplicated. One may enter a book, proceed through its pages by a simple movement of the hand, and upon returning at another time be restored to the place where the former perusal had concluded. Krishna Collection has thus been conceived not as an accumulation of miscellaneous digital conveniences, but as a portable treasury of transcendental literature: a means whereby the writings, discourses, conversations and correspondence concerning Krishna may remain continually accessible for attentive perusal, thoughtful reference and serious cultivation of transcendental knowledge.

Tomelet

Read the book the way it was printed. Tomelet starts from what the publisher made β€” the fonts, spacing and images β€” and lets you work on top of it. It is a private reader for EPUB, PDF and many more formats, with its own typesetting engine. THE PAGE COMES FIRST β€’ Publisher fonts, styles and images are kept by default. β€’ Change the type size and the text reflows without losing the design. β€’ Bright, sepia, dark and black themes; margins, line spacing, alignment and hyphenation are yours to set. WRITE ON THE PAGE β€’ Highlight, underline, add notes and bookmarks in EPUBs and in PDFs with selectable text. β€’ Draw with Apple Pencil β€” pressure changes the line β€” or switch on finger drawing. β€’ Export a book's notes as Markdown or JSON. THE FORMATS YOU OWN EPUB, PDF, MOBI, AZW3, FB2, DjVu, CBZ comics, DOCX, TXT, Markdown and HTML, plus older formats such as CHM, LIT and Palm eReader β€” all DRM-free. Books locked with DRM are recognised and explained; Tomelet doesn't remove protection. EVERY LANGUAGE ON THE PAGE Right-to-left text such as Arabic and Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese and Korean with ruby annotations, and hyphenation come from one rendering engine. Tomelet itself speaks 28 languages. A LIBRARY THAT TIDIES ITSELF Titles, authors, series and covers come from the file and, unless you turn it off in Settings, from Open Library. Automatic tags, collections and series keep things in order, and search finds books in your library and words inside a book. FREE TO READ. PAY FOR SYNC. The free app is the whole reader, not a trial: every format and reading feature, notes, export and local backup, offline and with no account. It is supported by one ad before a book opens β€” never while you read, and never on your first day. TOMELET SYNC Tomelet Sync keeps your books, reading positions, highlights, notes and ink in step across your iPhone, iPad and computer, removes ads, and includes 10 GB of encrypted storage. Everything is encrypted on your device before it is uploaded; our servers never hold a key that can read your library. A new device is approved from one you already trust, or with your Recovery Key. Tomelet Sync is an auto-renewable subscription, billed monthly or yearly, with a free trial for eligible new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; the subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and you can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
